Neat-o and arrived a bit early I believe. Rider, I need a new desk chair and quite liked what I saw about that one on the link you previously provided. I anxiously await your impressions of it after logging a few hours sitting in it.

I call fake! There's a comfy chair, a cat, and they are separated in the picture. Not real!

And the cat has white hair....

The cat says their chair is nicer. wink.gif

That is really cool. It is one of those fancy expensive chairs. Like Acadian, I wonder how it feels to sit in? How is the lower back support? I have never really had the opportunity to try one like that. I had to replace my office chair a few months ago, and had a hard time finding any chairs at all. Eventually I did find one I liked, once I took the arms off it. I just don't like office chairs with them.

It seems to be quite comfortable once I got everything adjusted to fit me. The seat has bolsters on the side, much like the bucket seat of a car. Lumbar support is solid, what really appealed to me about this chair is that the back is adjustable, so I can get it more upright than the old one. I can also lay it back and recline in it like a LayZBoy, but I don't see myself doing it that much. It comes with two pillows, one for the back and one for the head, but I'm not using either at the moment. The arms are adjustable four ways - up and down (a huge thing for me, because the old one was too high), angled in or out or straight, forward or back, and width. I can rock it back, or I can lock it so it doesn't rock/tilt. The base is super solid - all steel, not plastic. Cushions are super firm, so that may take some getting used to, but at least I'm not sitting on the frame anymore!

I'll know better after a few days of gaming, but four hours of work in it just flew by fast!

Thanks for your insights on that chair, Rider. My problem has been traditionally that the things I don't like about a chair sometimes don't show up until I've been using it a week or two. I do like the wrap around lower back support (like a sports car bucket seat). Looking forward to hearing how you feel about in a few more days of use. smile.gif

The chair I use I bought 19 years ago, when I moved into my apartment one year after getting my first job. Yes, I still use the same chair. I hardly think anyone is surprised rollinglaugh.gif

Nice chair. Secret lab are out of my price range.

Also, my phone spies on me. My guild leader from wow was talking about secret lab chairs a while ago on Discord. I started getting ads for them.

What a comfortable looking chair! Congratulations! I have replaced my dumpster chair with a less broken one, but it's just ok. I'm very interested in how your chair works out over the next few weeks. I'm sure it will be awesome, but I'm trying to weigh awesomeness against the price.

It's been a week now, and I am still so in love with this chair. It really makes working and gaming so much more comfortable. One perk I did not realize until I used it - that head pillow? It has a cooling gel that totally work for those hot flashes!

My back and hips are so much happier with this. And I find it easy to get out of, which is really important because I'm trying to stand every hour and stretch.

The degree of adjustability is amazing. I have changed up the back angle, the arms, even the tilt of the seat - I can rock it forward or back, and lock it into place. It is just plain awesome!

So far, it's been totally worth it!

Has it really been twelve years since I’ve joined Chorrol?

I can’t believe it.

Time was when I was just a wee youngin’, looking in wonder and awe at all of you guys and the way you write.

I still remember the days of yore.

mALX, treydog, Destri, Acadian, Grits, SubRosa, H.E.R, Jack Cloudy, Black Hand, minque, Colonel Mustard, Remko, Saqira, Zalphon, and all the other friends that we’ve met along the way. Generation after generation of Chorrolians. Passing and going, passing and going.

I don’t even know what to say, tbh. I don’t know why I went on with this monologue.

Perhaps all I can say is, thank you.

We’ll always have Chorrol.

Aye, Uleni, that we will. This is the one place I check into EVERY day on the internet. It helps keep me- well, not "sane"- but.... centered.
