No, it's more of "we don't want her injured again because it's heckin expensive".

Not allowing indoor cats outside is perfectly acceptable in the US and many shelters will not adopt out to you if you will let them outside.

It's just the issue of a cat who has been outdoors before and suddenly can't go outdoors anymore. If a cat never has been outside it's less of an issue


Ours has been injured several times but we can't not let her out since she's used to it. Good thing though, she never ventures far.

Far or not, she's 15. She'll be fine.

At least 15. Probably older. He got them shortly after moving here and I've been here 4 years now, and they were probably 12 when I moved here. He doesn't remember.

Ha. Never heard that one though. Might be because red = fast. True facts.

It is actually statistically true that cops flag down red cars more often than others. Even if those red cars don't even break speed limit. Red is an eye catcher.
