Sunny and warmish here... think around 8. It snowed a bit yesterday but wasn't cold enough for it to stick.

This cat is super clingy. She's up on our laps, our desks, our chairs. Non stop moving too. Likes to sit on the lumbar pillow under the hoodie I keep on my chair, too. Likes to play, but only with certain toys. Doesn't like the feathers on a stick much, but likes the ribbon on a stick so I might get more toys like that. And some mice. But I need to get an enzymatic cleaner to use in case of accidents. Mikael uses one at the dialysis center to clean up blood spills. They're useful to have around.

Ordered a new mattress, now I need to find a waterproof sheet for it. Ikea sells one cheap but no home delivery. Not going to Sundsvall for that. Mattress has been on our buy list for quite some time now, so it's not like this is a very oddball purchase. It's stained and compressed and in poor condition. He's had it without a protective cover for probably 20 years now.

Tuesday apparently is the funeral home visit. I offered to go with mom and dad, we'll see if they want me to go with.

Phone comes Tuesday. Phone case could be any time next week. Vaccine appointment weds. Need to call to make a vet appointment Monday. Kitty needs a good start so we don't have to take her in for something preventable, so she's getting shots, an exam, checked for worms and a microchip. Apparently kittens often get worms from mom's milk and usually cats are dewormed when they're a few weeks old, but this kitten has never been to the vet. She's in for a treat. Our vet is super nice. Her and her husband are trained in Uppsala and licenced in both Sweden and the US.

Busy week. Gonna try to get the vet appointment for next week. She'll need spayed too, but that can't happen til she's 6 months old here which will be real fun. She can go into heat as early as 4 months....

But I have only ridden it once. I fell, and now I'm terrified of getting back on it.

Best thing when that happens is to get right back up in the saddle. No delays!
