I agree. Many go head over heels to be the first, to be edgy, to cut out what they feel is old. Doesn't matter if it still works as a complement.

Yea their numbers might have not been the highest, but it was by far more than a few users. And a forum is dirt cheap to keep running. (in bill gates type money's eyes). So I do not think it was that. But I could be wrong. I just feel it was what you are saying causing them to think, lets just move it to discord.

There were easily a hundred different faces a day there if you combed through all the forums. Not much sure - but in my eyes mos def enough to justify keeping them.

I mean I was there and I was in the middle of proving my points and saying stuff and that enough is enough reason to keep a forum ! HAHA

So I am upset.

This is true. Until last week Beth.net registered an average of 100 new accounts per hour. This has slowed somewhat, as you might expect, but even now it has not stopped. As I write these words, Bnet gained 33 new members in the last hour. Currently, we have 5,450,511 members.

Member count doesn't mean active users.

I had an account on that forum since before it went live, and I never used it, for example.

We moved here from Oregon last year. I fell in love with the place the moment I saw it. As a former student of architecture I love to walk around and gawk at all the beautiful Victorian architecture. I love the the rolling, wooded hills that surround our house. We were lucky to buy the place at an extremely cheap price: 2,300 sq ft on nearly half an acre of land. It offers a stunningly beautiful view of downtown Franklin from the upstairs windows. I feel right at home here.

But my point is even if just 1 of them were a real person of true interest in the forums, that would be 1 person a hour. Which is imo a serious amount of traffic. Definitely enough to keep the forum alive *if traffic is a deciding factor*. So literally just 1% of that number being real (which is totally possible) would be justification to keep them alive.

Something aint right. I definitely suspect Aliens from beyond the Nirn have infiltrated Bethesda and they have a agenda. But just what that agenda is, we have yet to figure out.

Yep, this is how I got onto it. But I play on PS4, I think that's the only way for that.

It is, I played only on PS4 until I built my PC. I was so excited for Bethnet mods back then.

I’m all seriousness though, I think they used to have something called a Game Genie that you could get for consoles. It was more of a cheat device but it certainly did “mod” a given game’s code. They later had a similar device called a Game Shark that you could get for consoles. Again it was more of a cheat device, but I had one for Nintendo64 and you could tweak the gun coding in Goldeneye007 and make new guns!
