QUOTE(Sakiri @ Sep 10 2021, 01:55 PM) Lol indeed.
My cat is licking me incessantly and it hurts. She doesn't stop either when you move, she either follows or finds a new spot.
Get a spray bottle! They hate that!

A most interesting early morning, related to today's exercise walk.
In general, it was nicely cool during the walk. Surprisingly cool for this time of year. Cool enough to warrant a short-sleeve sweatshirt. 'Normal' folk could easily make do with a T-shirt, but me, I needed the sweatshirt to be comfortable.
The first interesting bit occurred while returning from the far end of street-three, which is the second street. Off to my left, three young deer emerged from the tree-row that separates the street's under-construction homes from crop fields. They pranced around until I neared the street's near end, at which point they noticed me and scampered into the trees. I would have sworn there weren't enough woodlands nearby to support deer, but either I'm wrong or those deer traveled a good way through dangerous territory to get here. (I'm likely wrong. I often am.)
Then, as I turned into street-two, which is the third street, I was greeted to the sun emerging from a clump of trees at the street's far end. Due to atmospheric conditions, only a tiny core at its center was yellow. Most of it was a beautiful orange. Its rim was sold red. It was a sight to behold. I was able to stare out it without hurting my eyes, which I did until, nearing street end, the sun again disappeared behind trees.

We have deer that live in our city. I guess they move from one pocket of woods to the next. It’s very common for people to hit them in their cars in the inner city.

QUOTE(Sakiri @ Sep 11 2021, 12:44 PM) Hitting deer is terrible.
Makes a fine mess, causes a ton of damage.
Apparently we have problems with folks hitting moose.
I can only imagine the damage one of those could do!

From what Mythbusters tested hitting a moose seriously "Frumples" up your car. Not the Mythbusters video but you get the idea.
