So many times we have read about your Decrepit Avatar saving Cyrodiil's roads during his many patrols, Vilja at his side, while Groucho the Donkey carries their loot from place to place.  Having a dinner of boar's meat and mead in Wawnet Inn or The Count's Arms. So many times in the past we have gazed upon your lovely screenshots! Thanks for the well-wishes on my hobble through my seventh decade. As to my forum profile icon, Renee is mostly correct. It is indeed a self-portrait drawn while in the military. However, it is from early in my military career rather than near its end. It's from 1975. I was stationed in southern California at the time. The image was drawn while looking at myself in a mirror propped up atop a military-provided dresser in my assigned dormitory room. I would have been twenty-four at the time, less than a year into my second four-year enlistment.
A bit of worthless trivia: I had double-cowlicks, both prominent. This caused some minor grief during the bulk of my military days, as it was hard to comb hair smoothly enough to meet military grooming standards on the side oppose where I parted it. Speaking of parting hair, one dubious advantage of double cowlicks is being able to part hair on either side. I could and did so.
