Elden ring just isn't my type of game.

Is it Dark Souls 2.0?

Yes. Yes it is.

Dark Souls with more of an emphasis on a large open world.

And I don't do difficult.

Heck I've made more progress in Elden Ring then I have in Dark Souls. Exploring isn't too bad you can find some reasonable enemies to fight and level up on but were this game kicks you in the teeth and poops in your bed are the bosses, those {insert nasty 8 letter word that begins with A and ends in holes} are insane and require good strategy and flawless execution to beat! One bad button press and its back to the start of the battle again.

Why does this game hurt me so bad? Waaaaaaaaaaaaa T_T !!!!

I don't do difficult either. Prefer wandering around Cyrodiil and enjoying the landscape

You can do that in Elden Ring, there's a lot of landscapes that are simply gorgeous to look at.

I'm sure but since I'm covered I'm plenty happy

Honestly the difficulty's not to shabby, you just need to adapt to different strategies or duel wield swords with bleeding, that helps SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO much!!! Anyway just won my first Great Rune and done with the opening area, Well there's still a pesky dragon that taunting me and needs beating!

I will say there's something rewarding when you're getting your butt handed to you and after leveling up you turn around and do the same to the boss of the game. Makes playing it worth it .
