well the title says it all I think, our second attempt at moving to these forums, and we're assuming everything will work out now.

however should you encounter anything odd, or have any questions, then feel free to post them here and we will deal with them as soon as possible.

I still get the occasional error when I try to post, but not as frequently as last time we moved here...

Oh, and are the old posts still existant? I was going to read some of the older stories....

so just change the settings at the bottom of the page to view all instead of the last 30 days.


also, this error, is it a busy server error? or something else?

I occasionaly get soe flood control thing telling me i have to wait 30 seconds before i can post again. But then maybe that's ment to happen

I'm having trouble seeing some smilies. Like the ":cake:" and :goodjob: ones.

goodjob? hmm where is that smiley? is it back? cake? don´t have it at all...

The cake and goodjob emotes (among others) are on their way, but haven't been added/have been temporarily removed.


On that note, the admins have graciously set the default cut off topic display to show all topics instead of not showing topics older than 30 days by default.
You can, of course, change it yourself and sort topics at any time and way you wish by using the drop-down boxes at the bottom of the forum index, as Alexander said.

Now you have them.

The mark all forums as read thing doesn't work for me. Same with mark all topics as read

I have no problems with that. Must be a problem with your cookies, or something.

Doesn't work for me somtimes too... Usually 'General Discussion' thought I've read through all the posts and replies goes unmarked..

k, i can't seem to get the chat thingy working....
when i click the chat link a blank page comes up and says like"waiting4oblivion javasript chat room" blah blah
but below it is nothin but on of those little red X's in a box...do i need to download something or what...?

You need a Java plugin for your browser.

Go here if you use mozilla/firefox to get the Java plugin.
I don't know offhand for Internet Explorer, if you're using that then does it popup asking if you want to install Java (It may call it the Java RE (Runtime Enviroment) or some other abbreviation)
