Bought a new copy of Fallout3 for XB360 today. My old copy kept crashing saying that the disc was unreadable. Sure enough, there was a perfectly ring shaped scuff about 3-5mm in width all the way around the middle portion of the disc. Not sure how that happened. Annoying.

I mean, it’s not really necessary in this modern age of digital downloads and such. I have it on PC also, but pc is at the townhouse/mom’s house because we don’t have the interwebz out in the wilderness where Khajiit and Mrs. Khajiit lives… yet. We’re working on correcting that inconvenience.

You aren’t wrong ‘Rocu. I fear that eventually there will be no physical copies of games. Maybe not even digital copies that you can download to your hard drive and still play. Corporations have figured out that a majority of people will gladly pay for a subscription service and “rent” media. While this kind of setup is certainly a good way to “try before you buy”, it may leave those of us who want to own our media behind. That being said, with the state of gaming these days, I’m not sure most future games will be worth owning anyway. But I’m preaching to the choir, aren’t I? wink.gif
