Thanks, Grits! I'm in between puters so have not been playing or even following ESO site until I get new puter and everything back up and running. Those new features you mentioned sound like most welcome additions.

There’s a PTS update tomorrow, so hopefully we’ll get some new details on these upcoming things:

New Lighthouse island player house in High isle

Hideable shoulder thingy (available through event merchants)

Multi-station attunable crafting station(s)

Much rejoicing!!

WOO HOO!!!!

Hiding shoulders will finally let Nadja and Vicuña use Undaunted sets. They currently run 4 pieces of a set, but now a 3-piece jewelry and an Undaunted are in the mix.

I couldn't find nay details of the crafting station. Do we know anything more? It could just be a full-set station, so a set uses one slot instead of four, or the all-sets-in-one variety we actually want. But that would be four, one for each craft, so my hopes aren't high. Either way, they'll monetize the conversion from what we already have.

See you all on the PTS on Monday!

I got the sense from the livestream announcement that it is a one-station-to-rule-them-all situation, akin to the Transmute station. This was not explicitly stated, however. They were just talking about this new station solving the overcrowding problems that players have mentioned.

The mechanism for adding sets to the new station(s) was not revealed, either. I’m imagining feeding individual attuned stations to it. That would support the continued use of individual attuned stations where folks want that as well as letting fully equipped guild halls immediately upgrade to the mega-station without a bunch of running around to buy and attune some new trinket for every set in the game.

The forums are of course filled with speculation and rage.

Patch Note for 8.3.0 are posted. No mention of "attun" or "shoulder" in there. Looks like those features must wait for the full chapter, like the new class.

Darn, I thought they were part of Update 37.

I did find this on the PTS: Hide Shoulders

No surprise, but nice to know it won't be a dye or some other per-item nonsense. Very happy to see this.

Also the High Isle lighthouse player home is on the PTS for preview. Elke spent a few minutes in the sun watching ornaugs frolic in the distance.

I misread that house name as Frog Beak Lighthouse, and now I can’t see it the right way. biggrin.gif

Very welcome news on the hide shoulders! I'll hope for some wise decisions from ZOS on fixing the 'sea of tables' problem with crafting set items. And, as ever, I'll hope for a butt fix for the Timbercrow Wanderer costume; if Almalexia can wear a loincloth flawlessly, Buffy expects to as well.

They said the "Attune" thing was going to happen in the third quarter in lieu of one of the annual DLC we would have at that time. They are going to do a huge patch update at that time.

Did you catch when “invisible style” comes out? I could only find the bit about buying it at the Impresario tent. Hopefully, they’re doing it in a way that lets more pages be added to the style.

And on the subject of “when”, the Feb showcase again fails to include Aderene, the decon assistant. I have resisted buying Giladil, especially as I would need one on each server. Maybe the Aureal armory one is not selling, and they changed their minds.

I didn't catch that; I'll have to listen to it again more carefully. I thought they were just doing the shoulders; is it going to be everything invisible if you want? That would be awesome!

I just heard that the Hide Shoulder outfit style will be available from the Impresario during Jester's Festival, then from her assistant afterward.

Frog Beak is a very cool house. I just took another look around and ended up on the beach watching ships go by.

The thing I like about Frog Beak is that the lighthouse itself is relatively compact. Just three modest rooms that don’t demand 300 slots each. The undercroft could be left almost empty, and the exterior is landscape, not yard space, so you don’t feel compelled to fill it, either. Compare that to say, Ebonheart Chateau, where it’s a much larger interior, and a walled yard to plant. Or Doomchar, Moonsugar Meadow, or Coldharbour, where you need to build a house.

It’s also clear where the living space is. Several of the others give you too much choice of where to live, which can be confusing to visitors.

A little more info on ESO's solution to the full service guild hall 'sea of tables' problem. Solution will be one master attunable table per crafting profession (four). To load up a master attunable table with craftible sets, you will 'feed' it already attuned tables. That answers the question of how to transition from the old to the new, and speculation is that you will still buy old style attunable tables and attune them as new sets come out - then 'feed' them to the appropriate master attunable table. Regardless, sounds like a massive improvement. smile.gif

This has to be fake news. Everything I’m reading says they are doing it right.

One station for each craft. Attuned regular one-set stations get fed to it, new or old. It’s like they listened to us. Can’t be true.

Just pointing out the things I expected them to get wrong. It could easily have been one big combo station for all four crafts, and only handle the newer sets, leaving the existing seas of tables.

mALX will get annoyed at having to move back in all the furnishings that got bumped for more sets, but she’ll like the end result. I hope the “feeding” process lets the rest of us help with the work. I only have a fraction of the sets on EU, so it won’t take Fleur long to clean up there.

Is that the name of the lighthouse? I fell in love with it, bought ANOTHER 21,000 Crowns and spent over half of them on the furnished version of it, lol. I didn't know you could see ships passing!!! I did learn you could swim out to the coral reefs!

Oh, that sounds really interesting! I wonder what kind of animation and sound effects they will have for the "eating" of the attuned sets? I am going to LOVE this, because it means we can have any house size we want for the Guild Hall and no more juggling hundreds of tables to make them lay out in alphabetical order, WOO HOO!!!!!!!!!!

Oh no, this is what I have been begging and praying for! I can put the new sets out in the courtyard where we hang out for Guild Meets so people don't have to go inside at all anymore unless they just want to! I will have to devise some entertaining decor inside after this, lol.

By the way; Welcome Back! We should have another Guild Meet for the EU since neither you or I made it and poor Grits had to run around by herself at this month's Meet, lol.
