Star Wars: Rebellion
Final update Today saw the last session of this playthrough. Last sector only had two systems I had to take, and one of them had the rebel base so I didn't really have to assault it, just bombard it and then the credits rolled. Good playthough but as with most it seriously lacked a good fight between two massive fleets. I had twelve Super Star Destroyers when only about five would have been enough. I must have changed how I play because back in the day I used to have many space battles against huge rebel fleets. That's why I have so many SSD:s these days so as to not be overwhelmed. Anyway; Emperor Palpsie is back at Coruscant which also hold all rebel captives and I left Vader in command of the Main Fleet. And with the rebel base destroyed and all its leaders captive, order has once again been restored to the galaxy. Thank you and good night!

I'm still ensorceled by Dragon's Dogma here... Gosh, that game is good... Not huge or endless, and yet... just can't stop playing it. Must be a binding curse.

Demonicon surprised me today. It's an old game with old graphics and slightly clunky movement, and I was ready to turn away from it after 15 minutes, but then something nudged me to try again a few hours later... Been playing it for the most of the day. There's something about that game... Is it blood magic? Demonic powers? Reminiscences of Dragon Age? Who knows. Remarkably, my feelings about it are very well reflected by the reviews: 5 stars and 1 star at the same time. Good for people who love conversation, lore, codex, long unpronouncable names and an abundance of deities. So why am I still playing it then..?

Khajiit is losing his mind. Currently working on four different games at the same time. First, I’m getting back into Fallout4, trying out the Sim Settlement 2 mod. Second, I’m playing Divinity Original Sin 2 every Wednesday with some friends online. Not the way I like playing games, and the story seems kinda dumb, but fighting stuff is fun. Third is Castlevania: Symphony of the Night on PS4. It’s part of a two game compilation called “Requiem” which also includes SotN’s prequel [i]Rondo of Blood. I’ve been trying to get into this game for a while, but it’s so different than my beloved Super Castlevania IV that it just hadn’t grabbed me. Then a couple of days ago, it just clicked. I’m enjoying it much better now! Lastly, after mowing through the Goldeneye rerelease on Switch, I dug out my PS2 and started playing Timesplitters: Future Perfect again. The story is cheesy and some of the humor hasn’t aged well, but it’s just a fun game and I love it!

I spent so much time in the mapmaker modes of TS1 and 2. I love stuff like that, which is probably why I like Fallout4’s building features so much. I didn’t actually play a lot of TS:Future Perfect so I never really got a good grasp on the upgrades the mapmaker got. I’m looking forward to spending some time with it! The rights to the TS franchise were bought by THQ Nordic last year or the year before and they supposedly put the old Free Radical Design team back together, but I haven’t heard anything about a new TS game. Timesplitters... Lol indeed. Were you a fan Reaps? This post has been edited by TheCheshireKhajiit: Mar 2 2023, 05:26 PM

I was anyway. Played that game in the middle of the night at a friend's house back in the early 2000s. After watching a movie and eating pizza of course They were excellent “party games”. Much like their predecessors, Perfect Dark and Goldeneye 007 before that, the multiplayer modes offered so many options and playable characters to run around as. Of course if you wanted to play on PS2 with more than 2 people you had to buy one of those “multi taps”.
