QUOTE(Kiln @ Jul 21 2005, 10:42 PM) If they were in oblivion it would be cool to see them, not likely but it would be cool. Since they dissappeared and Oblivion is the Elderscrolls equivalent of hell...I never thought of that before... Oblivion is not hell. Todd oversimplified for those that don't know TES games. Oblivion is the place where the Daedra dwell. It is not the place where the unfortunate spend eternity frying or being poked Thus, don't get your hopes up. Personally, I'm going with the theory that Azura removed them from existance altogether because she was so annoyed with them, what with building their own god and all.

Oblivion itself should be something more like a Plane, right ?? With all the bad and not-so-bad Daedra & their servants Personally, I'd still like to get to know more about whereabouts of Dwemer in OB, because their technology and scientific medling in TES's magical setting could represent a threat, or at least a huge insult, to Daedra who are the true rulers of Nirn.

QUOTE(Soulseeker3.0 @ Jul 22 2005, 10:41 PM) one question on Obivion, the place. is it kind of like the greek nether world? were all the dead people go? Or does it even have anything to do with dead people? No, it is in fact not. That comment about it being "hell" is extremely misleading.

QUOTE(Sinder Velvin @ Jul 23 2005, 12:09 PM) Yeah, I sort of knew I should'nt have made this thread when I didn't know what I was talking about, sorry.... PS: I enjoy the Imperial Libarary very much, keep up the good work. QUOTE(milanius @ Jul 22 2005, 10:17 PM) So... Oblivion itself should be something more like a Plane, right ?? Yeah It is more like a plane. I meant the Dwemer being tortured and or confined in Oblivion. This wasn't even a very important thing to bring up, just me making mistakes (again). QUOTE(Channler @ Aug 9 2005, 01:17 AM) Well I wondering now... Someone important said oblivion would be scary.. would that be entirely true? Being that there are good/bad deadra? (sorta) Good and bad are temple terms, the 'good' ones are the anticpations, then Daedra that most resemble the Tribunal member (Boethiah = Almalexia, Mephala = Vivec, Azura = Sotha Sil). Nothing more. The realm s of the daedra however would vary. Mehrune sDagon probablly has a hellish firestorm for a realm, while a Daedra like Hircine has a forest, for hutning. And from Redguard, we know Clavicus vile has a nice little island among clouds (deceptively angelic...) ...of course, the realm of Oblivion is constantly changing...

QUOTE(Zelda_Zealot @ Aug 2 2005, 08:16 AM) I noticed some people saying that the dwemer ceased to exist, then how is it possable for them to have ghosts or "specters"? The living ones disappeared, not the ones that had died before. And I am sorry, but the Dwemer have ceased to exist. QUOTE(Channler @ Aug 9 2005, 08:17 AM) Someone important said oblivion would be scary.. would that be entirely true? Some parts are scary, some parts are not. I assume Oblivion will take place in scary parts. Of course, scary is very much relative.
