Yes, I would have liked those shades if I had killed him, lol. I always tried to get those "Lucky Shades" in that store with the "random" Deathclaw that attacks you as you are leaving it, lol. That Deathclaw killed me more than once; but at least I still had the Lucky Shades when I revived, lol.

Did you try logging out and back in? I loved combining those shades with the Lincoln hat and the "Naughty Nightie" whenever I had to try to win a "Speech" or "Charisma" challenge, lol. Not cheating, just stacking the odds in my favor, lol.

I should get my new LMG this Friday! It's the Middleweight meaning it has a bit more metal then the feather weight (meaning stock, barrel and bipod) and it comes with a 2500 round box magazine. It's going to be a BEAST!

I've had the Lucky Shades since forever, don't remember how you get them. But I think mALX is right; you find them in the shop right at the invisible border south-west of Tenpenny where that hobo lives.

The trick is to open the console, select the Lucky Shades, then type in SetOwnership.

That makes you the owner, so it is not stealing anymore. It works in the ES games, so I think the command works in Fallout 3 and 4 as well.
