Time to watch some A Christmas Carole with Geroge C. Scott. After the month I've had I'm starting to feel like old Ebenezer Scrooge.

Nobody would blame you Reaps. You have had a pretty rough go of it lately. sad.gif

Thanks. Losing Rosie hurts but nothing will compare to grief and pain that I went through when I lost Loki-1, man those were some of the saddest days of my life.

Oh my gosh, Reaper; I am so sorry to hear about Rosie and Loki! That is terrible news; you have my deepest condolences and sympathies. We all know how much you loved them both.

No problem! I understand why it was blurry and I still liked the colors smile.gif

Also; why December is exhausting laugh.gif

I had a nice Christmas with my sister and in-laws. I wish I didn't lose Rosie so early but the older German Shepards get, the higher the chances they become at getting cancer. Sadly my cousin in Texas had two that suffered the same genetic misfortune. Such a cruel fate for such a wonderful dog, but I got her remains back and had a decent closure so no guilt, remorse or regret hovering over me.

Yeah; I think we just kind of "rent" our pets to bring us joy for a short time; but our love for them goes on for the rest of our lives I lost my Rottie decades ago now; and he is still in my family's thoughts all the time. They touch our hearts deeper than a human bond in a lot of ways.

Loki-1 was a rottie blue healer mix and was such a beautiful dog. I thought I'd never get over his passing, that is until Loki-2 came into my life and healed me.

My Christmas tree is thriving even though I've had it since December 1st. This is one of the best one I've had santa.gif

I love that! I think we used to put "Sprite" soda in the water in ours to keep it green longer. Couldn't put aspirin in the water because the dogs and cats would drink it, lol.
