That’s a tough one. Honestly, I get the itch to play it every time we mention it, which is a phenomenon that this game is kinda known for, but I have found it hard to stick with after finishing my last playthrough with Brigitte. Malks just fit the goofy nature of the game so well that I would argue that playing as one is the definitive V:TM-B experience! I would try a Nossie run, but I feel like not being able to be seen without causing a Masquerade violation would become annoying and/or tedious.

Yeah, I would never go as a Nossie. In fact, I agree so much with Khajiit's opinion that Malks are perfect in this game I in fact cannot see myself playing as anything else now!

Gangrel was good for my first run, but after that it's Malks all the way! Only issue I have is the font they use and the meaning behind the sentences. Cause even after 5+ playthroughs I still don't always know what the heck I'm supposed to be saying!

I really liked the quest to blow up the warehouse. Felt like a Deus Ex thing

Don’t have a frame of reference for that, but yes, it was a good mission for the differing ways you could approach it. Straight up assault? Fine. Stealth? Just as good.

Didn't like the Bioshock-esque respawning of enemies though, meaning you simply cannot kill them all and the warehouse is empty. I sort of get the idea behind it however.

I don’t remember the enemies respawning!

They do. If you clear out all of them and muck around, suddenly there are more enemies in a part of the warehouse where you killed them all. Same as the zombies.

He did get one of them. I don’t see that scene as Nines being “tough”, more like he just doesn’t like bullies and calls them out when he finds them. He’s not out there trying to waste any effort on low level Sabat punks, but if they want to try him, they’ll get the final death. Mistake? Maybe, but Nines is a true Brujah, and lives by his own code.

Khajiit makes a good point there. I just think as for me, I would wanna waste any and all of them wherever I find them.

Like the Doom Slayer; the only way is to kill them all, don't leave anyone behind.


Cause if you do, they may come back later and bite you in the buttocks...

Nines is the kind of guy who wouldn’t care if they come after him. Is it the “smart” thing to do? Maybe not, but if they do come looking for a fight, he’ll be sure to give them one.
