Heard about a guy cycling from coast to coast America and my only question is WHY??

Some do it for fitness. Some do it for charity. Some do it just to see if they can. Still others do it for the adventure of it.

And most of us don't do it because someone invented cars and planes

It’s certainly not for everyone. I would never attempt such a thing. I also have no desire to jump out of a perfectly good airplane.

Khajiit is certainly wise


Especially if said plane is 10.000 ft up in the air and not just standing still on the runway

Because it's easier and safer to just sit at home watching youtube?

No disrespect intended to anyone who would want to do that. For me, there’s just too much that could go wrong, and if it goes wrong, you have too long to think about it on your way down. Yikes.

I know a guy who did this in his 60s. All went well thankfully, but I wouldn't do it. Both due to the risk and also I don't have a need for the thrill.


And yes I know many things you do in every day life are also dangerous. I used to ride a bike and fly helicopter and both are risky things to do

I don't think I'll ever seek it out, but if some friends asked to join in I'd have a hard time saying no.


Of course, I also would not tell the missus until afterwards.
