Oh it is nice, VERY NICE! $550.00 well spent! If you love PC gaming but need to free up some memory or simply don't like how Steam affects your computer, a Steam Deck is the way to go! It might not play all games, but it will play the ones that matter like Dark Souls or Elden Ring.
So far it plays Elden Ring like a champ and Dark Souls 1 plays perfectly!
I thought about buying a steam deck but I honestly don't like controller interfaces much and prefer the PC. When I move back to the US, I will be buying a new laptop, as I plan to travel the country a bit and my current one is about six years old and won't run a lot.
I'm looking at Dell, mostly since my friend has a corporate account and can get pretty sweet financing even though I plan to pay it off in full.

Train from Malmö to Stockholm has no power. I have absolutely no idea how the F I'm getting home tonight. Between this shi and my canceled train in Sundsvall I'm literally panicking.

Sorry, Saki. Being recently out of surgery makes getting home smoothly and quickly pretty darn important. Too bad about the darn trains. Wiser taking a taxi than walking or taking a donkey or silt strider though I guess.
Usually they rebook us on buses but there isn't a bus available. I'm alotted up to 3000 kronor for a taxi and this cost almost 2500. That's about 260 bucks. For a 1h 15m ride.
And they gave me a month time to review and reimburse.
Also I haven't been to a toilet in 12 hours and I really gotta go. Lol

Got some video clips of me playing Dark Souls on the Steam Deck. Probably not the best way using my phone but I'm still trying to figure this thing out.
Anyway the graphics are sharp and the gameplay is silky smooth! This is probably the best experience I've had with DS in a while other than the version on the Switch.
