I was like that for a long time with armors and weapons.
Heavy emphasis on 'was'. I started getting burned out from my beloved Skyrim for having too many personal restrictions on modding and decided to throw them all out of the window last year. I mod to my hearts content now, and I used armors based on the rule of cool. For me, it's all about making my characters look good now. The result was a rekindled love of the game and a modlist that went from around 200 active files to nearly 900. My new philosophy carried over to Starfield. I played so much of the game in it's release state that by now Andromeda has only worn vanilla clothing and spacesuits until she got to New Atlantis. -------------------- Wrapped in furs beneath the northern lights

The compass and weapons info are always on but the big ring and whatnot in the middle is from the scanner being opened.
