GAAAAAH!!! Not Abu Garcia!!! I LOVE their fishing gear!!!

Husqvarna chain saws only work for one season, then after putting them up for the winter they never start again without extensive repair job.

Seriously, I don't know what's up with that. I never have issues with their chainsaws

I have been using Abu Garcia since I was old enough to say what pole and reel I wanted my parents to buy me, lol. Bill Dance used to swear by them every week on his show, and so instantly I was hooked, lol. I bought everything he said he used on that show, still do even though I can't find his show anymore.

On the chain saws = yeah, it happened twice to us = bought the chain saw and when we put it up for the winter it didn't start again in the spring = we had to bring it back for repairs. So we tried getting the next Husqvarna up from that model and the same exact thing happened. It was too irritating, so when we brought it back in for the repairs we just bypassed that step and made the store manager trade it up for a Stihl at a much higher price. We will find out in the spring if it works after the winter break.

When we had a fishing store where I live, they had Abu Garcia and I just went with that brand. Been very happy with it


I know newer models can be more finicky since just like cars they have too computers integrated now and there's less way to tinker with them yourself. The older ones I have are never an issue when I start using them in autumn and during winter.

Let's just hope you'll be happy with Stihl instead

Seriously; when hooking up the saw to a "real" computer it tells you how many times you've yanked the starter

I LOVE Abu Garcia, always have since my first to the two I have now.
