Think I'll download Morrowind again and play it again, I always loved the music in that game.

So I am now in Ryan's Amusements, the second area in this game, and I have just adopted my first Little Sister! I need this Little One to find ADAM so I can purchase the Incinerate! plasmid in order to melt the ice that's blocking the train from further advancement. Plus of course so I can melt some ice containing useful items scattered here and there.
The fight with the Big Daddy felt easier than last time. Partly I think because I had a flying turret to help me even if it was damaged a bit (smoke coming out of it).

Had some issues when starting up this time. When activating the elevator that triggers a cutscene, the game kept freezing, forcing me to ctrl-alt-delete my way out several times before I could continue. I think it helps if I don't move around when these triggered events happen.
At the second triggered event when going up another elevator the game didn't freeze or crash this time, although it did last time I played through this game. I didn't move around and maybe that helped.

So anyway; time to find some ADAM!

I played Bioshock 2.
It was an interesting game, if I remember I went for what I thought was the best ending with Elinore drowning Sofia and absorbing Delta's Adam and saving all the Little Sisters. To me Justice was served, Elinore will always have us with her in spirit and the Little Sisters saved to go on and live better lives.

I think you mean that Sofia Lamb drowned; the Justice ending that you got. That may be the "best" ending in a way since she was evil so she got her comeuppance, but the game's best ending is when Eleanor helps Sofia to breathe instead of letting her die.

I just love this game's asthetics; it's so beautiful with the lighting and the water effects on the helmet's glass. Can't wait to research the Drill Dash!

I have now arrived in Pauper's Drop. Augustus Sinclair who hopped aboard the train just prior to me is still there behind a locked door.
The Little One was rescued at a vent and I have now formally fought my first Big Sister for real. The one back in the first area ( I think Atlantic Arrivals?) is actually a fake fight and you cannot kill her, nor can she kill you but instead when you are almost dead she disappears.

Anyway, Incinerate! plasmid is installed and I even had enough ADAM left to upgrade both Health and Eve reserves despite me rescuing the Little Sister instead of harvesting. Now, in Pauper's Drop there are two Sisters I have to adopt before finally get the lockdown override key from Grace so me and Sinclair can continue our journey through Rapture.

Bioshock 2, Pauper's Drop: cleared

Lengthy session today. Released the second Little Sister of this map and fought the second Big Sister while also researching Drill Dash; finally I can drill and dash at the same time!

I also got up to Grace Holloway in her suite at Sinclair's hotel to get the override key for the train. I really like that place, btw. Lots of rooms to poke around in. As always I of course spared Grace as there's no need to kill an old woman whose hatred towards you is based upon misunderstandings. In return she sent two strong security bots to help with the remaining Splicers and with key in hand, me and Sinclair left Pauper's Drop to head for Dionysus Park. But can't go there just yet; gotta take care of things in Siren Alley first which happens to be my favorite area in the game!

While playing through NG+ in Dark Souls I managed to snag the FUGS (Fuma's Ultra Great Sword) of the game the Black Knight Great Sword.
This is Easy Mode for melee strength build characters, cause once you have the appropriate stats for it and level it up. You'll need no other weapon, this thing melts bosses like hot butter.

Another long session and it was a good'un too. Explored the entire first area of Siren Alley, fought two Big Daddies and rescued one Little Sister with the second currently piggybacking. We need to find a body to extract ADAM from but it's behind a locked door so I need to follow the MQ for now.

Found a new weapon just before quitting; the spear gun which is good for long range sniping. I also got the first present from the rescued Little Sisters as thanks for not harvesting them and an added bonus from Grace Holloway from the last level. Unfortunately I was all stocked up on everything that she gave me but I will check back later before flooding the whole area and leaving.

During my unfortunate serious illness of early 2025 my enthusiasm for PC gaming vanished. It has not yet reappeared, with one exception. I recently resumed playing Solitile, the match-and-remove-tiles game that was included as shareware on a floppy-disk that came with one of the first PC Magazines I ever bought, back in 1989! I played it to death back then, then played if off-and-on for many years. (It might well have been the first PC game I ever played.) I had not, however, played it in quite some time, other than rare sessions that led to nothing, until resuming play several weeks to a month ago. Since then, I've played at least one three-game session per day, often more, usually while listening to YouTube videos whose visuals aren't of consequents.

NOTE: Except very early on, I've only played one of Solitile's several tile configurations; the bridge. No other configuration, in my estimation, comes close. Moreover, I don't think any of the infrequent Solitile videos on YouTube are worth watching because the players in those videos utilize the "feature" that lets them see every tile in a stack, which is a deal-breaker in my opinion.

Close to three hours straight today - blimey! But I also got a lot of things done

First up, extracted ADAM from two corpses and released the Little Sister and yes; time for a Big Sister fight! I love that screech she makes just before showing up. Proper sh*tting bricks moment
Actually did poorly first time and ended up dying so I reloaded. And this despite being in a good area with lots of room and all weapons prepared. I don't know why it went so bad first time but then again this sometimes happens when I fight a Big Daddy too. Just one of those things. Second time went fine as expected and I ended up with a whopping 335 ADAM so I purchased some tonic slots so I could install some gene tonics which help improve the Delta Big Daddy that I am

When I was gonna call it quits I changed my mind and decided to explore the Little Sister orphanage and found the bed of Eleanor - the very Little Sister I'm trying to get to as she's bonded with Delta. While here I finished researching the Brute Splicer which gave me a tonic that makes me take less damage. This also means I only have to keep researching Big Daddies and Big Sisters now. Well, there's also Security but I don't bother with that as the payoff is nothing I care for.

Next up - another Big Daddy fight as I have one Little Sister left to adopt in this area before progressing the MQ. This is muy importante because if I just follow the MQ I will end up flooding the whole area which will make everything other than escaping impossible so I have to do everything that I want first. Quite similar to the point of no return in VtM:B actually.

Now I got a new PS5 I'm playing Dark Souls 3 and Elden Ring/my comfort game again.
