Ok, ok, it's come to my attention that I've been a bit of a ghostlike presence here, partly due to inactivity, partly due to my poor motivation, and with a little pinch of natural shyness where it's due. Oh well.

So yeah, I decided to change all that... And what better way to do so than with some random sketches of mine, eh? biggrin.gif

Okay, first up; a little drawing of a favoured Daedric prince, and his respective mace. He was fairly difficult to draw with the limited Daggerfall sprite though, so I used Darkwing's image for a little guidance, if that was okay of course. As for the mace, I designed that one from scratch, the versions in Daggerfall and Morrowind were too plain for my tastes...

I don't know what Vivec saw in him either.

--

In this one I tried my hand at designing one of the most obscure yet popular aspects of Nirn lore, and I've certainly had mixed responses from the people I've shown it to. Some people liked the take I had on it, some thought it just looked silly. I know I was happy with it.

Drew this one shortly after the first picture, so expect the monkeys and the ice cubes to follow in the near future. There's a few Chinese influences in with this one too, since the few shreds of lore on them we have seem to point at it, or so I think.

That's all I got for now. I might have some more in the future, who knows? I'd like to know what you all think about these ones though.

Nice sketches! goodjob.gif The cross-hatching is neatly-done, and the sketches are nicely detailed. Hope you will draw some more in the future! smile.gif

Though, I'm not sure what the second piccy is supposed to represent. Is it a snake-person (can not spell the race for the life of me)? huh.gif

EDIT: No, wait, didn't notice the legs. My bad! *blushes* Er, an Argonian?

Thanks for the feedback smile.gif

And yeah, the second picture is how I picture the Tsaesci, snake-men of Akavir, with the last one being a Ka Po' Tun from the same place. I don't think there's any clear descriptions of them so I invented my own ones.

EDIT: Aww, you mean they don't have legs? ohmy.gif

Amazing pictures goodjob.gif

Also, Sithering doesn't require a tail, for slithering could also mean moving fast and low to the ground.

I thought slithering required you to be on the ground....

Slither
1. To glide or slide like a reptile. See synonyms at slide.
2. To walk with a sliding or shuffling gait.
3. To slip and slide, as on a loose or uneven surface.

BTw i love your work. wish i could draw like that -.-

The Tsaesci are described either as creatures with human upper body and a snake tail in the place of legs, or just as walking snake- or eel-like creatures.

Quoted from the Imperial library. They do indeed have serpent tails and no legs.

Kinda like centaurs, but mixed with snakes rather than ponies/horses/donkeys/mules/whatever.

So, perhaps my 'Tsaesci toddler' drawings are not so far, then? smile.gif

Anyway, awesome drawings, and I hope you will continue to draw, ElderScrolls-related or not. Man, I love the details on those 'sketches' you drew. wub.gif

I like your style. It isn't so clearly defined, and gives it a cool feel to it. (sorry, not too great at commenting on artwork...)

Especially the very last one - it's awesome. goodjob.gif
