"He doesn't have the time or skill, only Arcyakt does," Fenris whispered. Seeing Osano walk in alone, he gestured to the mages. Several spells later, noone was visible in Caldera, except Osano himself.

OOC: bit confused on what happened so...

Osano waited for the dust caused by the [explosions?] to clear. His constructs were lieing in little heaps of scrap metal on the ground. Osano yelled seemingly at the town because he didn't know where anyone was, "Very clever! Lure me into here then destroy my army is it?! Well you managed to kill about one hundredth of it! Come out and fight me honorably!"

Mage

Arcyakt looked into his mirror, surprised that Osano had been all but defeated.

Time to join the fun...

He walked through the mirror and hid in an alley while casting the spell to resurrect the constructs.

He also set a barrier around the town, disabling the use of all magick inside it's walls.

Satisfied, he went back to the castle to oversee the rest of the unfolding events.

The man coming toward him was small...and looked quite weak...he could order the constructs to kill him...but what if Arcyakt was watching...he had to prove himself.

This is my chance...

York waved the constructs away and readied his new blade...but before he would fight he ordered a few mages to throw fireballs at tower the archer was on. The man coming at York was a brute...but that would not stop him.

He gripped the shield and readied himself,

"Hello adventurer, you have a name?" York asked

"Or perhaps children with no fathers have no names." York insulted him and readied for any blow he might deal

OOC: Sel is actually quite skinny...lol. he's not strong at all - just agile and quick

Sel drew his sword.

"My name, according to your master," Sel began. "Is Death."

He smiled - he never would have been proud to use that name, but now it seemed to fit...

"Your move."

IC:York circled around him slowly with his shield ready. Perhaps there was more to this man than meets the eye...

York circled looking for an opening in the defense...there appeared to be many but maybe...this warrior had been brave enough to confront him for a reason...or maybe he was a fool...

Who does this guy think he is?

York saw an opportunity and sliced for his leg but kept his shield ready for recoil. The noise of metal clashing raged on as he started the fight.

Otik cursde under his breath and then yelled "All you mages levitate somewere quick and all those that can't fiy hang onto me or run inside!" Otik then jumped off of the tower and hovered over to the castle and dropped all of the people off. He then flew over to the mages fying through the air and told them to heal the people on the castle.

Though he himself was slightly burned he flew to the twoer top and searched for servivors. He found acouple people and went over to the castle and told them all to continue there jobs. Otik left and went in to see how Serene, Celia, and Jocine(sp?) were doing and to get some grenades.

This was always Sel's greatest dilemma when fighting - dodge or block?

He chose to dodge. He jumped to the side, and rolled, but a small slash hit him still.

Need to work on that... Sel thought before springing back towards York, his green-glowing sword ready for a horizontal slash across his throat.

He swung as hard as he could...

OOC: will york be hit?

I seriously doubt it

[ooc: Taking the liberty to rewind on the Caldera events]

"Are we taking him out?" , Anthanes whispered towards where he believed the invisible Fenris was.

York raised his shield but barely in time to block the blow.

Damn...he's quick...

He jabbed several times testing his opponent and finally decided to make a jab for his stomach.

Come on...hit him...this time.

York readied himself again for a strike in case the blade didn't make contact.

Sel's eyes widened as the sword made its way through an opening in his defenses.

With his sword held up high, it was impossible to block the strike...Niran's sword!

He quickly drew the other sword, and in the same motion, batted York's harmlessly away.

He sheathed it again - that was handy. He made a note to himself though - his quickness could get him in trouble if he got too cocky.

And that damn shield of his...

"Yeah, concentrate a study stream of Genades into his location," Fenris said. He turned to the summoner-mage. "Get that Monarch down hereas quick as possible." The mage noded and began the incantation to summon it.

"Well?! Come out and fight me you cowards!" Osano yelled at the empty town.


OOC; damn now i'm really lost...since bob rewinded is the barrier still up?

OOC: Best its not, otherwise you'd lose the powers Arcyakt gifted you with...
