Fenris nodded. "Then it is good we have fortified Ald'ruhn so well," he said soberly. "We've got survivors from Balmora, Caldera, and the nearby Fort, along with members of the local guilds, temple priests, Bouyant Armigers, fortfied the city, its gates, even put a ash-trap around, and grenades under the ash outside and along the route here," he explained. "Ald'ruhn won't fall." QUOTE "Oh, I don't think you'd want to eat me. My armor's a bit bad for one's health."
Anthanes smirked a little as an idea came to him.
"While we're on the topic of foodstuffs and other things like that, may I invite you to share a glass - or four of flin with me while this city still stands and our heads are still in place?" Anara smirked back. "Sure, i believe the Rat in the Pot still has its drinks and such. In fact, last i saw the Armigers and V'anul they were in there," she said.

Jonacin nodded in approval at Fenris' recounting of the fortification of Ald Ruhn. "What of supplies? There are a large number of people here, and Arcyatk could decide to starve us out."

QUOTE(Konradude @ Aug 13 2005, 11:17 PM) Konrad walked back to Serene and tapped her on the back. "Would you mind quickly healig me? My back got pretty scratched up." Serene looked at Konrad. "why yes, come on" she said Putting her hands gently on his scratched back........the heat emergerd from her to him..and the scratches slowly closed and disappeared one by one... there....she tapped his shoulder and let him go

QUOTE(BobV @ Aug 13 2005, 05:14 PM) Anthanes nodded and led Anara there, flashing Konrad a grin but otherwise ignoring him and the busy preparations going on. Anara entered the Rat in the Pot first. V'anul and several of the Bouyant Armigers could be heard downstairs, conversing and drinking. Anara headed upstairs to the bar. She grabbed a couple bottles of Flin, handing on Anthanes. QUOTE Jonacin nodded in approval at Fenris' recounting of the fortification of Ald Ruhn. "What of supplies? There are a large number of people here, and Arcyatk could decide to starve us out." "We're running a bit low on alchemical supplies, but we'got a good amount of food, water, and alcohol stored in the Council Club over by the Silt Strider. We can get supplies via the Ghost-Gate, theres a route to it behind the temple," Fenris said. "And the Silt Strider can easily get us some supplies from distant towns, or act as a mobile Archer and mage mount." QUOTE "Who's in charge here, and where are the headquarters?" Sel asked. He needed somewhere to fit in in all of this that didn't include acting as a footsoldier - that wasn't exactly his forte. "Me," Fenris said.

QUOTE(Konradude @ Aug 13 2005, 11:22 PM) Konrad turned around to face her, and bowed again. "I am sorry about my short spell when I was slightly...unsociable to Celia and you. I don't know what came over. I truly apologise." he tod her, scratching the back of his head awkwardly. Aww..Serene was always easy to forgive..normally, you are forgiven Konrad she said smiling

QUOTE(Aki @ Aug 13 2005, 05:24 PM) "They actually let you order people around, huh?" Sel said jokingly. "Seriously though, anything for me to do in all of this?" He scoffed when Konrad apologized. "Fenris, has it occured to you that this may be the only town left? And we wont be able to leave for supplies once Arcyatk settles into the attack, because only a fool doesn't surround a heavily fortified position, and Arcyatk is no fool. I don't mean to sound like a pessimist, but we have to be prepared for any eventuality"

QUOTE(BobV @ Aug 13 2005, 05:27 PM) Anthanes took the bottle, smiling a bit. He offered Anara a chair from a nearby table in (As he thought it) true gentlemanly fashion and only sat down after she did. He then proceeded to drink his flin in the way only an experienced drinker of flin drinks flin. Anara sat in the seat Anthanes provided. "So, do you think we'll be able to kill this Arcyakt person?" she asked after taking a sip from her flin. QUOTE Fenris, has it occured to you that this may be the only town left? And we wont be able to leave for supplies once Arcyatk settles into the attack, because only a fool doesn't surround a heavily fortified position, and Arcyatk is no fool. I don't mean to sound like a pessimist, but we have to be prepared for any eventuality" "Not really, i highly doubt that we're the only ones left," Fenris said. "If he surrounds us, we'll escape via Guild Guide. We might even have to leave Morrowind if worse comes to worse, but the rest of Tamriel should be okay." "But i'd rather we fnd some way to kill Arcyakt." QUOTE "They actually let you order people around, huh?" Sel said jokingly.
"Seriously though, anything for me to do in all of this?" "Yeah, they knew i had more expierance with this guy than them," Fenris said with a shrug. "I honestly have no idea what you can do other than help fight off the Centurions if they break through the walls."

Fenris, if they break through the walls, retreat or surrender is the only option. we don't have the forces needed to hold them back if we lose the wall

Anara smiled. "Personally i'd go for the simplistic plan where someone stabs him with a sword, or hits him with a arrow or something. the only defense i know of against that is a sheild spell, and those won't last long, coupled with a dispell on strike enchantment, it'd bring down him defenses," she said. QUOTE Fenris, if they break through the walls, retreat or surrender is the only option. we don't have the forces needed to hold them back if we lose the wall "What do you sugeest then?" Fenris said. "Mr. Pessimistic Ansei."

York's army waited outside, he walked over the corpses that Arcyakt would eventually reanimate to join the forces. And took the food he needed from the castle.
Where is Arcyakt? He should've been here by now...
He sat in a chair at the top of the keep near a trapdoor thinking of his victory. The dull lifeless constructs lined up below, his mind was bent on finding the two warriors he'd seen, especially the one he'd fought, neither of the men were among the bodies here.
York was sure, he had looked at most of the bodies of the people that died inside the walls of the keep, none were his opponents.
They must have escaped through the Mage's guild.
Doesn't matter though, the other telvanni towns had been destroyed by now...and any surviving towns would follow.
York wondered when his comrades would regroup and where they would fight next...where had all the survivors gone? Many thoughts ran through his head as he stared at the constructs waiting on Arcyakt.
