QUOTE(gamer10 @ Aug 15 2005, 09:05 PM) I absolutely though that "War of the worlds" is the worst movie I have ever spent near two hours of my life watching. Why? Did you read the book? If so it wasn't supposed to be like the book. I loved that movie. Oh and btw I still love alladin, omg, its like the best movie there is... bring a girl to your house look through your movie cabnet and say, "Oh my god, look at this.. I haven't seen this in forever" 90% of the time they say, "What is it?" or something else to prove their interest, and then you go.. "Well I know its silly but I love the Alladin movie" And there like (most of the time, "Ahh! Thats so cute!" And then you coninue on to say, "I think thats the only movie I've ever cried watching.." then should come (from teh girl) "Aww, you're so sweet!" Take movie, insert into VHS player, and enjoy the cuddling Note that its only worked about 5 times, twice it didn't.... so 90% isn't a very good percentage..

"And now I'm going to kill you." ZAP ZAP ZAP!! Get the picture? But really, why do you hate War of the Worlds?

QUOTE(DoomedOne @ Aug 16 2005, 12:00 AM) Yeah actually I found war of the worlds pretty exciting. I loved the excitement too, I also loved the gaping plot holes. Robbie is superman, or Boston is heaven. Either way . . HOW DID HE SURVIVE THE GIANT WALL OF FLAME???? M. Night Shyamalan's Signs was bad, but I thought the village was great. QUOTE(Konradude @ Aug 16 2005, 06:38 PM) When that thing attacked the village and they hid in the trapdoor area..that was mildly scary. I didn't like it for a scary film. I liked the message it sent. Those elders were selfish, had they allowed they're children to live in the advanced world that mentally disabled guy would have been able to receive help. Stuff like that.

QUOTE(Channler @ Aug 17 2005, 12:49 AM) I see many people put Saving Private Ryan on their lists.. what do you all think about that? Or what about Band of Brothers, and not to stray from the point to much, what about that new HBO mini series Rome? Saving Private Ryan didn't make my list but its my favorite war movie so I'll answer your question anyway. Tom Hanks is a great actor. Road to Perdition, Apollo 13, he's just awesome. I don't see it politically either. A lot of people say it represented great reasons to stay out of war, or to go to war, but I don't know. I think the story surrounded Hank's men, and their struggles to something seemingly futile, but they did it anyways, because though it seemed stupid at first, once their men started dying, they had to save Ryan just to make the trip worth it.
