Otik shrugged,
well atleast we will have a fall back city, but were will will we go after that?

Otik then started to climp up onto the wall and found the highest place so that he could get a good sight of the battle field when the time came.

Osano stepped out from the ranks of his army and approached Shakur. "There will be no peaceful negotiations in this battle. I serve under Arcyakt, I take orders from him. I do not know exactly why he wants to take over this place, and I do not care. I just don't want to be on the business end of his attacks....Actually I do have a proposition, surrender yourselves or die. A town like this will not stand up to my army, it will be crushed," Osano said. He payed careful attention not to give away the fact that York was going to attack also. It seemed to Osano that no one had noticed him.

Shakur was amazed. A high ranking officer with the knowledge of a Grunt and the war words of a dieing Orc. "I see, well, I'll send message of your words, but before that, would you care for some peaceful chatter? No one likes to go into war without a nice intelligent talk. Plus it gets the brain running. How aout it brother?" Shakur talked to Osano as if they were best friends, for he had been told to embrace the enemy as a brother by his father, for that was the way of the Ir Shin and ancient Irshinki.

"Why not? You know you offered me a sparring match back up on the mountain and we never even started it. But from the gates of Ald'ruhn it might look like we were really fighting...." Osano said to Shakur.

Who´s thoughts were that? Serene looked around...Otik was there looking very thoughtful. what did he mean by that?

Fallback city? No way Ald´ruhn should fall, not her, and Sel´s hometown, Azura forbid that.....

She saw some soldiers looking very tired and worn out so she cast a fortificatopn spell at them:

"Ryck upp er och piggna till" she chanted pointing at the chosen soldiers with her left hand. A bluish light emerged from her fingertips and engulfed the soldiers..

Konrad landed from his levitataion beside Serene, watching her fortify some soldiers.

What the hell could they be tired from? Probably having a bit of fun with a stupid wench. (serne's story..angrification!)

Konrad pondered, then sat on the castle wall.

OOC: he means about the war

IC: "Well, a fight right now isn't as the good wolf would do. Also, there are men and women who would want to kill you so much more than I do, so I just wanted a talk. So I ask once again, would you like to talk? maybe exchange riddles?" Shakur wasn't stalling as it may have seemed, he really did want to have a friendly chat.

Osano shrugged and turned and ordered his soldiers to widen out a bit while saying, " Wouldn't mind a little conversation. But as for riddles... 'fraid I'm fresh out of them. Why don't you start?" Arcyakt, the battle is starting soon, did you want to oversee it?

"That's good, I love intelligent conversation for it shows exactly what kind of person the opponent is. Anyways, Where exactly do you hail from Osano?" Shakur was happy to hear that Osano would talk, it showed that Osano was intelligent in combat, not just a strategical Grunt.

"Don't know exactly where I was born but..." Come to think of it where was I raised? Perhaps the mage's magic is getting to my memory? Osano thought of the first city that came to mind, "uh Vivec. The outskirts of Vivec. Where do you come from?"

"I myself am a former resident of Sentinel, capitol of Hammerfell. By the way, I once paced though the outskirts of Vivec, nice place. It really shows the beuty of Vvardenfel doesn't it?" Shakur knew that if he kept asking questions, he would know more and more.

Osano grew inwardly angry but he hid it. He thought that Shakur knew he was lying; but his plan would backfire, Osano had been to Vivec a few times and knew the countryside there. "Yes it is nice out there, a bit wet for my tastes though....Say Shakur, why do you defend this town? You are certainly a wise man--more so than myself-- if you leave this place you will be spared."


OOC: i'm gone for a few minutes.

"Well, I could answer you directly, but as a wise man I now that wouldn't help your mind grow. So let me give you a question to ponder. Why does the Wolf defend his kin from the Bear when he could easily escape? Think of that while I consult the men and tell them your demands and when I come back I would like an answer" Shakur levitated away using his ring, and landed on top of the gate. Shakur was happy, he now knew more of his enemy, and if he had a full day to talk, he would have been able to crush his thoughts of war. "My brothers, sisters, friends and foe, they claim that we will surrender, or we will be slaughtered. What do you all say to that?".

OOC: can someone answer as the many, many soldiers? I don't really want to control all of their thoughts.

Serene looked annoyed at Konrad after sensing his thoughts about a wench....she did not like the insulting word at all.

She did not reveal anything though

Soldiers

One battled scarred veteran heard the worrior's statment and growled back " 'ell no!! I've spent my life here and don't feel like giving it up with out a fight!"

There were murmers of agreement rippled in the crowd and others started to call out and soon the whole army was siked(sp) and rearing for battle.

Osano rubbed his chin, "To answer such a riddle would be impossible. It's like asking why a mother cares for her children...But it does not matter why the wolf protects it's kin from the bear, rather who will win. So there is no answer, but I see your point and I will honor your decision. If you fall in battle, die in honor and have no regrets," Osano extended a hand, "Good luck."

OOC: u didnt have to do that red....kinda forgot where i was going with it...

IC: Konrad watched the eager fighters with interest.

They are too passionate. They will become too erratic, and will die too soon. I'm not pleased.

He stared at the m all as he walked along the wall, wondering how each of them was going to die.

He slowly walked down the steps from the wall, pulling open the gates and walking through them.

Ryan a "guard" near the mages, wondered when osano would attack, so he could finally get some blod on his axe...the last thing it had bitten into was a machines and oil just staines the metel.
