Check out my college rock list:

Interpol
Coldplay
Radiohead
System of a Down
Modest Mouse
Smashing Pumpkins
Limp Bizkit
Godsmack
Union Underground
A Perfect Circle
Ozzy Osbourne

I'm not saying no other bands are good, I'm saying thse bands make up my compilation album called college rock which I have been listening to non-stop since I burned it.

I do the same thing. I can't work without some tunes. Usually I pop in some Oasis for that though.

I'm listening to "King Harvest (Has Surely Come)" by The Band.

Thanks to falkinblues, I am now a fan of The Band. they are very good. And have a large variety of styles all mixed together.

Anyone else like them?

Hey, that's some good taste you have there! What's your favorite Massive Attack tracks?
Mine'd be:

- Man Next Door
- Unfinished Sympathy
- Prayer for England (from the new 100th Window album)

Their latest two albums are really up to par with their older stuff...I really liked the Danny the Dog soundtrack - I haven't seen the movie yet though.

Until seeing your post, I was listening to some Korean hiphop. You heard me. It's actually pretty cool. I asked a few people what they thought what language that is. Answers ranged from "must be finnish" to "sounds czech" wink.gif

Ever listen to Russian rap? The words string together really well and I guess thee same might go for Korean hip-hop. Anyways, On the Mountain (a.k.a. You Know You're Right) by Nirvana.

I think my favourite MA-Tracks are:

- Dissolved Girl (always reminds me of that scene in Matrix... biggrin.gif)
- Angel (I love the dark and creepy atmosphere of that one)
- Man next door (simply fantastic, probably my favourite one from the Mezzanine-Album)
- Teardrop (the song that started my interest in MA)
- Butterfly Caught
- What your soul sings

Sounds interesting, does it sound very different (besides the vocals) compared to "western" hiphop? smile.gif I mean especially concerning the composition and the use of instruments.

Queen: Under pressure. This is one of my favourite Queen songs, and I'm happy I own some of their best albums.

Rammenstein? Aren't they the German version of Slipknot? My friend would probably like them, he's a fan of those bands. Also about Queen, they really are amazing. The lead guitar (not Mercury) created his guitar when he was about twelve and used it ever since.

Anyways, the Denial Twist by the White stripes.

The voice of Lead Singer Till Lindemann sounds scary but most of the lyrics they use are rather trivial once you understand them.

The style is a little different I'd say but to be honest I can't really tell because I don't really know neither Rammstein nor Slipknot too well....

Now playing: Fluke - Atom Bomb

Right now I'm listening to "Blue Fields" from the Final Fantasy VIII OST, and I just finished listening to "Under Her Control", from the same album. Lately I've just been listening to mainly VG music, such as the stuff available to download from EVE Online's soundtrack (here's the official download page), some songs from Beyond Good & Evil and Metroid Prime 2, as well as a little Antonin Dvorak thrown in for good measure (go to the past games forum on official TES forums and look for the Daggerfall trailer thread, there's some Antonin used for it, and it pwns the music in the Oblivion trailer).
