Prepare to get controversial.
Ever wanted to just bicker over the petty things that don't matter?
Things I highly dislike:
Disney: Founded by a right-wing ultra-capitalist deuche, the Disney corporation has made millions by misrepresenting history for children, brutalizing workers and selling propaganda.
Anti-Flag: I listened with an open mind, but realized quickly the band never quite understood how to harmonize and the singer seems to have this idea that as long as it bashes Bush or the right-wing it will be a hit song.
Country Music: Who invented this garbage? It usually sounds like some guy is sitting on the crapper thinking about everything he doesn't like about black people.
Thirteen year olds: I went through it too, that age where you think you know everything and everything sucks.
The Sims: Most boring two hours I have ever endured.
Wallets with the engraving, "Bad-*ss mother-f***er" on them: We got it, it was funny in Pulp Fiction, but now you're just being a poser.
SUVs: Ugly, ugly cars. I think every SUV that comes out should be spray painted, "***hole behind the wheel."
Okay, now this seems like an angsty rant, but really, it's in response to Favorite things, a thread meant for you to be able to list your favorite things, but so many people keep arguing over other people's personal choices, and really that's not the thread to do it in. We should keep that thread clear of mean-hearted remarks, and the only way to do so is to filter them into here. Enjoy.

It usually sounds like some guy is sitting on the crapper thinking about everything he doesn't like about black people. lol i live in TN and yet i agree. what do i hate? it used to pi$$ me off so much when commercials would put words in childrens mouths and say crap like "Kids love it!" and "Your child's favorite songs." but i dont watch TV hardly at all anymore and plus that was back when i was a kid. I hate being stereotyped and being put down. the way people get all suspicious when someone high school age walks past their house and other crap like that. I also hate when your having a bad day and things just get worse and you stubb your toe five times and bit your tongue lip and cheek and....yah.

--"Gangster Rap" in which all the lyrics talk about is hoes, drugs, sex, and bustin' caps. Can you get any more unintelligent? --Disrespectful people. Especially the kids in school that would rather cuss out the teacher than sit down and do their work, and people that insult their moms/wives. (Dads can usually take it and end the mouthing with a smack or two.) --The word "chillax". I don't know why, but it really irks me. -- The Color Purple by Alice Walker. Is it so hard to give a poor black woman grammar skills as a plot device? --The idea that we all have to be "politically correct" all the time. I'm not offended when someone calls me "white" It's a lot easier than the word "caucasian", or saying "European-American". (that's a mouthful! ) --Nirvana. Enough said.

Well, take a seat, this is going to be long.
Most rap: I use the word most because I have heard Rap songs that were actually enjoyable, but they are hard to find with all of this "I'ma kill a cop and do some drugs off the stomach of a ho" stuff.
Evenesence (sp): Simply put, I don't like them.
People who won't let others voice they're opinion: Best example is the Dixxie Chicks concert. They destroyed they're cd's and banned them from the radio for saying "We dissaprove of George Bush but support our troops".
Simple Plan: I truely hate this band.
Good Charlot: Hate them almost as much as Simple Plan.
Blogs: It was annoying when it started, but now they are showcased on CNN and other news stations instead of actual news. You know, like murders and the war in Iraq.
Rascists
Biggots
People who get by on mooching: I can't stand people who have their parents and friends and family pay for every thing because they are too lazy to do anything for themselves.
People who hate others because they are supposed to: I know people that simply hate people because someone told them to.
Doom 3: Aka, the let down.
Hilary Duff: Just, aweful.
Pat Robertson: Appearently to him, women are evil and a certain Venazualin leader should be assasinated.
More to come. A lot more.

Wow everyone does hate everything I hate!? HURRAH!
Gangster rap sucks most definently, too much chat speak, when people say "Filthy" as something positive, most slang, Napoleon Dynamite, Vote for Pedro shirts, Finding Nemo, annoying people going around going "I LOVE INVADER ZIM!" and have only seen but one episode (if that) and don't know of JV's other work, Hot Topic, Malls, Halo 1 & 2, People who wear AC/DC shirts who don't know a SINGLE song, word tee shirts, Deviant Art (everyone thinks to much of themselves, stupid people, politicly correctness, MMORPGs ("STFU Nub 1m L3t!"), cars (I just don't like cars"), racists, Hilary Duff, biggots, homophobes, when people say a color when they mean a flavor ("I want PURPLE!" "YOU MEAN GRAPE?!?!?!?!?!") most chat sites, other forums, RPG haters, Hilary Clinton
I hate Simple Plan beyond words... that "Welcome to My Life" song... PURE DRIBBLE!!!! What's he trying to appeal to? Angsty 12 year olds? PURE CRAP!!!!! EVERY SIMPLE PLAN ALBLUM SHOULD BE WIPED FROM THE FACE OF THE EARTH..... only beffiting that Simple Plan and Good Charolette make frequent guest appearinces of Nickelodeon... ooh... hardcore....

Yes Chaos, it boils my blood to see a fan of Invader Zim who has never even heard of Jhonen Vasquez, too.
More stuff for my list:
Pat Robertson: I never liked him, I always thought he was a liar, but now he's threatened the life of a legitimate president.
Ann Coulter: I read "Treason," and I have to say Ann Coulter must have been living in a box for most of her life.
Michael Savage: He's just a complete ****face.
Billy Graham: He prayed that the progressive supreme court judges would retire, one of them does, and suddenly IT'S A MIRACLE.
Arnold Shwartzenegger: I live in the state he's screwing up.
Christians who never actually read the bible but still give misrepresented quotes from it: How many of these evangeilcal christians rioting for the war in Iraq actually believe in turning a cheek? Jesus believed and preached kindness, tolerance, acceptaces, being gentle, and being just, but one line in Leviticus states a man may not lie with another man and all that tolerance and acceptance goes out the window. I mean, obviously the bible contradicts itself, because what it is, are others' interpretations about what's right and wrong, and how everything began, and people disagree with each other. What would you follow first, though? That's the question.
Humongous Corporations that disrespect human rights and environment.
Muslims that don't read the Koran: According to the Koran, killing yourself for the cause of killing hundreds in order to spread panic and fear will... land you in HELL. Look at Cambodia. They are a somewhat progressive nation of people (not the government, the people) who are primarily Muslim (aside from one half of New Guinnea which are indiginous) and look at the Koran progressively and peacefully.
Native Americans that disrespect their ancestry: Native Americans have gone through so much crap. So many of them have saved their people from certain genocide by raising above the average warrior and becoming truly divine heroes. The things they overcame to hold onto just a portion of their people... but now when someone thinks Native American they think Casino.

Everything in the quotes I completely agree with. I think its sad as a partial Christian (I believe in Christ, not what a preast or pastor or anyone else says) that people do things Jesus opposed. Remember when Jesus stopped the money stalls in the churches and said the churches should give to the people, not the other way around? Well, it seems most churches don't judging by the money plates. No where in the bible does it say that Jesus hated blacks or gays or any other person who is discriminated on with peoples interpratations of the bible, he actually said the opposite. Anyways, I hate Poligamism, ignorance, people who aren't themselves, people who take every chance they can to take off their shirt, Homophobes, child abusers, wife beaters, husband beaters, people who name their children crazy names (nike Fantasia. Who names their child Fantasia?). This post has been edited by Red: Aug 27 2005, 05:04 AM

So according to this, Bill O'Reilly says you're an extremist if you think Outfoxed gives a thruthful representation of the Fox network. Outfoxed was a documentary that exposed the bias of the Fox news network to the degree that it is. Because of this, and this alone, he labled me an extremist, and therefore, he gets to make my list. By the way, if you're wondering why I have so many posts these days, it's because school is in session, meaning now all I do during the day I'm not at school is sit on the internet absorbing information and checking on various forums to see if someone's responded to a post I made. School ruined my life, at least during summer I had time to look for a job. Red, I used to be Christian, but in seventh grade I felt like it was time to use my own two feet and try and explore myself, and so I gave up Christianity and decided to try and find what I believed. I labled myself many things like atheist, buddhist, agnostic, levayist and etcetera, trying to find where I belong, but now when people ask what my religion is I just tell them it is to do Good. Not that I've exhausted the search for answers, but that I've reached a bit of a deadlock with the Universe on what a human being can actually understand. Therefore, we're not long lost brothers. Well, I guess maybe we are, but we do differ slightly.

Well, I guess maybe we are, but we do differ slightly. I can't really call my self pure Christian though, for personnaly, I only really believe in Christ's ideals, I don't exactly believe he is my savior. Also, I decided upon partial Christianity for now myself, my family believes in choice for religion. I myself am still searching though, I havn't exactly decided upon my "faith". Also about O'Reilly, I have never agreed with anything he has said, especially about extremeism. Aslo, This doesn't make me like him any more either. Ok, more things I hate: Naked mole rats Miniature poodles (as in those tiny poofy ones that you see all the time). People who hate others because they have certain ideals. Baseball. The saying "Off da chain". The word "pimin'". Unfare punishments (Cougheveryrapisttrialevercough). MTV. When MTV tries to turn my bands mainstream by playing their songs ninety times a day. People who pretend to have seen a movie to look popular. Vote for Pedro shirts (I want a shirt that says "Pedro lacks political experiance"). This post has been edited by Red: Aug 27 2005, 02:11 PM

I hate gift vouchers. They are like money, but less useful, therefore not worth buying. People always buy gift vouchers when they have no idea what a person wants for a present but they think giving money would seem like they haven't thought about the present. Give me the damn money instead, fools! I hate people with authority over me (ie. teachers, parents) who make arguments that are logically unsound but do not accept the fact they are wrong when I explain things to them. The same goes for political and religious arguments that make no sense. I hate the fact that being intelligent makes people regard me as a different species at school. I also hate the fact that they assume anyone as smart as me is easy to pick on, but I quite enjoy giving them a piece of my mind and then having them back off . I hate people who look down on anything outside of pop culture. How can they look down on classical music when they listen to modern manufactured pop? How can they look down on the idea of reading a book when they read "heat" or "OK" magazine? I should be looking down on them, dammit! I hate being told I am lying when I am telling the truth. I always tell the truth and cannot stand the implication that I am a liar, especially when someone else's word is being taken as true when I know it to be false. I hate headaches. Virtually any other physical pain I can deal with, but you can't ignore headaches. I hate celebrities who are famous for no other reason than the fact that they are famous, and I hate the way that people aspire to be like these idiots. I could go on, but I won't. One thing that I definitely don't hate is ranting about all the things I do hate.
