I think the ashlanders will play a minor role. Nobody in civilazation really likes them and they are usually killed on site. The house have moved on to domination but maybe a quest for a more caring player could involve saving ashlanders who are being wiped out during the ferocity of the House wars. Perhaps one of the houses has set their sights on controlling Ashlander lands and are killing them off and setting of settlments.

yes it's true they are hated, but in their terrain they are stronger, adn united they could be as powerful as a great house

i may take a part in protecting the ashlands....

They are weakened from generations of their young being slaughtered. Some of their young men and women have become bandits and abandoned the tribe. Also the ashlanders have to contend with disease. They also rely on trading with houses, and if the houses no longer want them they are also slowly starving since game is become more scarce and the plants are often ruined.

Another good quest idea for the ashlander sympathiser could be attempting to unite the tribes and and drive off the houses from taking their land.

We will set up the guidlines for character creation later when the ball starts rolling and the RP has a name and is about to start.

Or could you do that as a chief to, like taking over the other tribes by marriage or war?

i'll be a chief who is rightous, but is having trouble keeping up with the changing times,, he really needs to get a group of warriors, together, and unite the tribes

Yes I suppose that could work. We'll decided on that when the RP starts and the Ashlanders start dying.

What really need to do is to start deciding the name of the RP. It has gone nameless for a bit too long.

Anyway, these ideas are very awesome, but which one is the main one again? Just to conform.

I like these ideas very much, and I would be interested in joining, but I'm a little leery, because the whole House-wars/fallen Empire thing is way too complex for my little easily-confuzzled head.

Aw, I like House Hlaalu(sp?)! They seem to be one of the nicest Houses in the game. I can understand though how the whole Empire-falling can be devastating to the House, though...

Glad your gonna join . Hlaalu is devistated because they were the only ones who really welcomed the Empire (probably for their money no doubt) and they were very money oriented. With the Empire collapsing money is worthless and thats what Hlaalu has been collecting for so long. They are also at a disadvantage because the Legion is powerless and will only attract negative attention from the citizens Hlaalu rules. So they dump the useless Legionarre's support and morale and approval goes up.
