Sel hopped down from the roof - the dragon crashing into it didn't make him feel very safe up there. He looked around for Celia; finding anybody in this wild party would be a difficult task.

"Celia," he began after finally spotting her in the crowd. "Go for a walk?" he asked, a bit sheepishly. He still didn't think Serene was telling him the truth, but there was only one way to find out, he had decided.

Celia took the necklace from Megil, confused about what Megil had just done. "Is this safe?" she asked nervously.

She nearly jumped when she heard Sel. Grinning shyly, she answered, "Sure, I guess."

Sel lead her outside, away from the vast majority of the group.

"What are you doing now that all this is over?" he asked, staring off into the distance.

into the sunrise.

The Sunrise. "Crud!" V'anul cried out, and was in a few moment nude, well, more nude than before. Which wasn't much, just *slightly* less furry. Fenris laughed and had a soldier provide the Khajiit some clothing. Anara on the other hand had the sense to have grabbed a robe before reverting back with the sunrise.

QUOTE(Megil Tel-Zeke @ Aug 30 2005, 02:19 AM)
"Thanks" he said quickly before darting back to serene who was lying down now.

Hope this works

He placed the gem on serene's chest and cusped it with both hands.  He closed his eyes, and began to mutter incomprehensible words under his breath.

the gemstone began to glow, and soo even though it was covered by Megil's hands, it glew so brightly you could see not the hands but a bright blinding light.  Eentually it dissipated, and megil examined the crystal,  it was as flawless as before, but megil knew that it had done its purpose.

He looked down at Serene who was breathing was now relaxed.  the poison having been destroyed.  Megil took the necklace back to Celia, who had undoubtedly seen the blinding light.

"It is yours,  may you learn to use it well." Megil said.
*

Serene looked up at Megil and Jonacin, both kneeling beside her. SDhe was delighted that Jonacin was ok now and then she spotted Megils weary looks...she remembered feeling very ill when she haeled Jionacin.....strange.....absorbing poison she had done many times before without any harm to herself, but apparently this time it was different. Maybe the poison from Arcyakt was far more potent than usual poison...?

Anyway one more obvious thing was that she now felt quite ok. So Megil must have taken some measures.....ah how very kind of him! She wished.....no she did not even dare to think of it.......it was too painful..

I wonder where he is now and if he´d had a good life......will I ever meet him?

Anthanes sighed as he soared down, landing a few feet away from Serene.

"It seems to be over. Excuse me."

The battlemage then went off to find Anara, many things on his mind.

Jonacin slowly came back to conciousness, and saw Serene beside him. He caught her up in an embrace. "It's finally over. Now we can have a life together"

oh well..Serene bowed her head...

Let´s go inside Morvayn Manor here it seems not to have been destroyed ...and I´ll tell you then..

When they were comfortably seated inside the Manor Living room serene told Jonacin her sad story:

Way back in Cyrodiil, the year I was 16 my parents had this huge Banquet inviting all their friends and colleagues. My father was a General in the Imperial Legion at that time. There was a lot of really heavy drinking among the guests....

So at a late hour I went out for a sip of fresh air...all by myself..at least that was what I thought.......

Serene stopped telling looking at Jonacin..

"Are you sure you want to hear this ?" she asked shyly

Very well, she continued:

Suddenly I heard voices...drunken voices and out of the dark in our garden three of my father´s colleagues showed up, shouting and laughing..obviously terribly drunk. But the worst thing was that they dragged a young Dunmer with them. This young dunmer was one of my mothers employees, she used to hire dumnerii to work in our garden since those people always are very skilled in gardening, they semm to have really "green fingers". This young boy , he was one or two years older than me, was badly beaten and abused as far as i could see.

I naturally screamed but was rapidly silenced by one of the imperial soldiers, he put his stinking hand right over my mouth. I tried to bite him but then he gave me a hard slash across my face.

"Now we´re gonna have some real fun!" one of them said

Serene once again stopped looking at Jonacin

" Yes darling Jona " she whispered, they beat me and abused me, but as if that was not enough..they forced our poor gardener to abuse me as well...."

They were not even punished since nobody believed me at that time.....Now some months later it was obvious that I told the truth since it began to show that I was pregnant..still nobody believed that it was a result from that particular night.

When my son was born, a chilly morning in Last Seed, his appearance showed that his biological father must have been the young Dunmerii, the light grey skin and his slightly pointed ears were obvious.......but his hair color was mine...and so was his eyes...not red that is!

Now the common belief was that the Dunmerii gardener got me into trouble and he was shoved off our land deprived of everything he had. I don´t know what happened to him thereafter.

I was sent to Skyrim, to my relatives in Falcreath where I spent most of my youth"

My son was taken from me....nobody ever told me where they sent him, I was very weak after having him, my body was not meant to bear a child at that age.

I have spent many years to try to find out what happened to him........and you can imagine what i felt when I set eyes on Anthanes the firsttime!!

" Jonacin..can you bear to be with me knowing all this ???"

Serene felt a big stone fall from her chest.....Jonacin still loved her! what an extraordinary man he was!!!

She was so happy she flung herself in his arms kissing and hugging him, at the same time giggled with joy!

"Ok my precious redguard..I´ll follow you till the world´s end ." Let´s go my love...let´s try to build a life together..you set the path....!!"

OOC: Now I think the part concerning Serene and Jonacin has come to a conclusion

"they will hire Morvayn Manor and start a good life in ald´ruhn, first by helping to organise the rebuild and then..well who knows!!! biggrin.gif

IC:
Serene hugged Jonacin once more and told him to lie down and rest while she was to meet Mistress Morvayn..

OOC: hopefully that's a good conclusion. Should make Vivec a nice hotspot for you guys to come see in the next RP. I only wish i had the artistic ability to show you gusy the city in my mind.

Megil roamed around Ald'Rhun speaking with his friends, and also hearing alot of encouragement and offers from those of Vivec. The sylphs had left shortly after battle and returned to the sea, soon only to once again become rumors of seductive women from the sea, despite their service to vvardenfel.

He hung around the city for the celebrations and after some goodbyes left with those from Vivec. Vivec was a city of tents and wooden shacks just outside the ruins for Several years, as plans where made for the building of the New City, which was to surpass the Glory of Old Vivec. The best Artisans, Architects, Enginers and creative minds were consulted to design the city. Having a 7,000 year old inheritance of gold, found in sunken vessels, jewelry take from those who ventured alone near the seas at night, and Many priceless and unique items resided with Megil, supplying him with quite literally infinite resources, which were used to pay for the cost of the new city.

Thanks to the aid of the Mage's guild, construction was sped up considerably, and within 5 years nearly 50% of the city was built and open to the public.

Statues of great warriors (AMU people and others) of the god's, of mythical beasts, and artistic works lined the tiled plazas, fountains where plentiful, A parks where added as places of quiet refuge, literally a jewel floating on the water is what became of Vivec. The city drew peopl back in by the thousands, the houses each building their own gilded halls, and even the halls of justice where a splendid site.

Megil, being the largest patron for the city, was given a position as Chief of Defenses. As such he reinstated the ordinators and had magical enchantments laced through the architecture of the city, protecting if from future asaults. Gigantic crystals where made, and enchanted and placed around the perimeter, their purpose eluding the citizens, for they would when activated suround the city in a protective barrier. Vivec grew to be an architectural wonder throughout vvardenfell, a jewel of the god's many would say not knowing that it was funded mostly by one man.

However, little did people realize that this city was also a fortress, its airy light and elaborately detailed architecture that seemed to defy natural laws, housed many physicaly and magical traps. But such news was known only by a few sworn to secrecy on magically enforced vows.

Megil resided in a large manor in Vivec, guarded by bodyguards, and often busy with official business. His plans to protect the citizens from future attack by armies and mages alike, his many advisors constantly reporting the situations of the city. Very little happened in the city that Megil did not know about. What frustrated him most, was the bickering of the Houses

OC: i figured the last line was a good leader into the next RP.
