"You'd not do that..." , Anthanes said to En'fel with a smirk. The Archbattlemage whispered something in daedric. "v'laash verimae athora." He then spoke in a (to Endris) very friendly and persuasive voice: "Isn't it a fair bargain...? This knowledge for your life? And if it is satisfactory, there might be monetary rewards for you, too..."

The speaking daedric frightened En'Fel. He realized then he was palying with a shark, and what was worth, a shark blinded by arrogance. "You, assassin, I will give you the writ, and you will run. Serene, you will come with me. You, you will everyone I took her, and not to follow me. Don't do something stupid, if you speak that tongue again, I will slay her before you can finish the word."

He reached into Serene's pocket and got out the writ, his hand was out, with his other still holding his blade to Serene's neck. He motioned it toward Endris.

Endris dashed towards En'Fel, grabbed the writ from his hand, and ran towards the door. He was going to head out of town, figuring the Anthanes may try to follow him. "Till we meet again, Ashlander. I owe you"

En'Fel
Ald-ruhn

Once the writ was out of his hand, he grabbed Serene by the shoulder and began back-pacing them both out. You may feel a slight child, he thought to her, and continued to back up slowly, although now his free hand was emitting a strange sort of fog, and the edge of her coat (or whatever she's wearing) began to frost over.

"You know what that means don't you? It means I'm less than a split second away from killing her, with either arm. She'll be safe where she's going, don't worry about that. You can meet her at... Ahemussa."

With that, he quickened his pace backwards, out of the area, out of Ald-ruhn.

Somewhere between Ald-ruhn and Maar gan

"We're going to meet your son in Erabeninsum, but first I want you to do something for me," he told her.

With Cal's last question, Kiln felt emotionless. He wasn't sure why exactly he hadn't went to the houses, something just felt wrong about doing that. He thought of the best answer he could give. When he first joined the legion he would've given some brainwashed answer like Honor, duty, and the will to continue but not now.

"The reason I didn't join with the houses? Well, the legion has become my family and you just don't leave family." Kiln said seriously as he stared at the table

After a moment he looked up from the table and at Cal.

"Well, the main camps haven't sent any word to me and my men for some time now so I fear the worst has become of the camps." Kiln said

Kiln realised what he'd just said, he'd told him that he was an officer and that there were other legion soldiers. What if he was a house spy? Kiln was worried once again.

He quickly ate the bread, he was definately hungry which, if this boy was a spy could signal that they were low on supplies and now that Kiln had told him there were others he began to worry even more.

Forget it Kiln, you're just paranoid.

Am I? Maybe my recent decisions have been wrong. Perhaps my faith has been ill placed with these men.

He sat at the table arguing with himself but trying not to show it.

"That scrib-sucking guar lover..." , Anthanes muttered. He then proceeded to chant a bit. "Arthano v'laash vehk!"

The half-dunmer dissappeared to appear a moment later outside of Vivec.

Megil- Prison, New Vivec

Megil's back was to the prisoner.

"Yes, I have, but it was an accident."

The memory of Niran's death came rushing back into Megil's head. for 5 years he ahd tried to drive it out of his memory, he had suceeded for the most part, but on quiet nights it would sometimes show itself again.

Anger and remorse rose up in Megil, setting loose a spark that had for 5 years remained docile. madness momentarily flared.

"Kill him...slowly"

Megil said leaving with Darus, the door shuting behind him. he began to walk out, his boots resounding on the stone. Megil was silent.

Guards- Ced's Cell, New Vivec

The ordinators looked at each other in confusion at first, never had their leader been so brutal. But they were not about to disobey his orders. They began to feel hatred for this man, who had killed 19 other ordinator's some of which were their friends.

They grabbed Ced and slammed him down onto a stone table, they tied him down to it. then one left to return with a case, that contained a very wicked looking blade. An ancient sylph artifact, an enchantedblade designed skillfully to be the perfect torture weapon.

they then began to torture Ced.

Ced couldn't hold back his reaction as Megil walked away.

"Come back you coward! Come back!'

Then they forced him down onto a strange stone table.

He felt the blade meet his skin, as he screamed after Megil.

"Accident! Ha! You're just running away from it! Running away!" Then he could speak no more for the pain overtook him.

Akar, Outskirts of Al'ruhn.

Akar looked to his companions, of which he didn't know the names of.

"So, what now? Wait for En'fel?" Akar asked.

"No." one of them answered. "We will meet him in the Erabenimsun camp."

Akar shrugged and fell in line, feeling even more out of place without En'fel.

After the Imperials had left, a messenger came through the still open door, panting. "S-huuh, Sir, uh, Lord Megil has caught a, killer, he's in the prison. He killed, about eight... teen, guards" The messenger said, panting, and was quickly replied with "My lords, eight-teen guards? I hope Darus is all right. Quick, gather up twenty men and get some sacks, I'll get some Ruhns and such and we'll make sure their families are ok finacial-wise".

Sel, Ald'ruhn

Sel stood helplessly as this ashlander took Serene away. He looked to Jonacin. "Do we follow him?

Akar, A few miles from the Erabenimsun Camp

Akar walked behind the group, suddenly excluded from everything. He spent the time remembering their names.

The one with the nasty-looking axe and aggressive demeanor was Hel'Tic, the loyal, non aggressive one was Anhasou, the pretty, shy woman was Sounigo, and the sly, rogue-ish one with the throwing stars was Ganfi.

Proud of himself, he decided to try out his new knowledge. "Hel'Tic," he said, he seemed to be the leader now that En'fel was gone.

"Who is that?" he asked, pointing to the horizon.

Hel'Tic squinted, trying to make out the shapes. "Telvanni."

"What do we do?" Akar asked.

"Ganfi," Hel'tic, continued, ignoring Akar. "Follow the Telvanni, but don't let them know you're there."

Ganfi immediately set off.

"We go to warn the Erabenimsun. then maybe they will help us out of repayment for saving them."

Akar figured that was a good plan, so he continued following.

Wred
Isaarin Residence

Wred got out of bed feeling refreshed for the first time in years. His whole life was ahead of him. Finally, he had paid his dues and he could become somebody... somebody real. He could enter the Hlaalu world legitimately, without question or complaint. He saw his new armor on his bed-side from the night before and grinned. It looked so new, so fitting.

Wred donned a robe and went down-stairs. It was about 10:00 AM, meaning he had been asleep for twenty-two hours, no wonder he was so refreshed.

"Your breakfast is cold, we were told to let you sleep," one of the servants said.

"I'll eat it cold then, I'm famished," Wred responded.

"You also have your orders for the day," the servant continued. "There are reports of Legionnaires in this city. We will set you up with a tracker, you are to follow them."

Endris--New Vivec

Endris strolled into New Vivec. He was walking at a brisk pace to the Arena area. The old Morag Tong was hidden under a trap door in an arena storage room in Old Vivec. Since Vivec was rebuilt the same idea of hiding the Morag Tong HQ in a storage room was still used, the layout had just changed.

Endris slipped into the storage room, inserted a key into a trap door and climbed down the ladder. He was greeted by everyone else in the guild, they held him in great esteem, mostly out of fear. Endris walked up into Eno Hlaalu's chambers. The man had been Grandmaster of the guild for quite some years now; something Endris planned on changing.

"Serene is dead," Endris said plainly. He handed Eno the writ of execution, "It was not needed, the guards did not see me."

"Really?" Eno said surprised, "It seems you hardly ever need the writs anymore now. So, how would you like to be paid?"

"In gems."

Eno searched through one of the chests in the room and tossed a bag of extremely valuable diamonds, rubies, and emeralds at Endris. "Twelve thousand."

"Is that it?!"

"No. I'm offering you twelve thousand and your next advancement. If you accept, you will now be an Exalted Master of the Morag Tong."

Endris was surprised. Things were starting to go his way. For the past few years he had been planning to kick Eno off his comfy chair at the top of the guild and this advancement would help him do it. "I accept."

"Excellent. Now for your next task, Exalted Master Endris," Eno handed him a scrolled parchment...

Akar, Erabenimsun camp

Stood outsude the ashkhan's yurt as Hel'Tic went inside to warn him of the coming telvanni.

When the ashlander emerged from the yurt, Akar walked beside him. "What now?"

"We lead them to the Zainab hiding place." he answered, as if the answer should have been obvious.

"Where's that?" Akar asked.

Hel'Tic merely glared at the half-breed for awhile before answering. "It doesn't matter. You will help me, Ganfi, Anhsou, and Sounigo keep the telvanni busy while they escape."

Akar suddenly realized that these people didn't want his help; they only let him because they owed him something.

"Fine." he said, heading in the direction where he had seen the Telvanni earlier.

Hel'Tic and the others soon followed.

"We have to find Ganfi first." Hel'Tic said.

"There." Akar pointed behind the large party of Telvanni, where a lone figure crept far behind.

Hel'Tic
Erabeninsum Outskirts

"Alright, Half-breed, Anhasou, you two will attack from the front. Sounigo, you will run up to Ganfi and tell him to attack from behind. Once they're split, I'll come from to the middle. We'll wipe the floor with 'em. You all ready?"

They were deep within the mountains. The Telvanni burned the Erabeninsum camp without incident, and began heading deeper into the mountains. Anhasou and Akar stayed above them, on the tops of the ridges, waiting for their signal. They waited until the soldiers were deep in a canyon-path before they attacked.

"Now!" Hel'Tic roared and charged into battle.

Ruins of Fort Moonmoth, Cal.

"I understand. The legion is really all I have left of family, as well. And I guess I should call you sir, eh?", Cal said and smiled. "Oh, don't worry, I'm no spy. It may seem strange, that a young boy like me is a legionaire, but it's the truth. I wish I could offer you proof, because I don't like it when other legionaires don't trust me. All I can offer, is my word, until we get to the camp where my uncle is. That is, when you feel ready for it."

Cal turned around and faced one of the walls, he unstrapped his blade, and focused on the mana infusion technique. The blade began to glow red, and after a few seconds, flames lit up around it. Cal thrust towards the wall, and slashed the sword. He stood up normally, and after a split second, the wall crumbled. "Oh, I finally got it to work. I guess that's thanks to you. I've always been successful with my training in the company of other legionaires. Hehe.", Cal said and laughed.
