QUOTE(Red @ Sep 8 2005, 06:35 PM) That sounds out-right awesome. Chris Head from AF plays a black electric guitar (Don't remember what kind right now though) with a red heart which he used his tatoo and stencil skills to make. Anyways I'm listening to "let's pray for this suicide" by Finch but don't worry, I just think the song is cool. Also, earlier I said shattered glass was by Finch, but it isn't. I meant to say Thrice so I'll edit now. You said earlier that you're a punk fan, so I'll throw this tasty fact out there; Someone (can't remember who) from The Vandals is in the Rx Bandits. (oh, and Thrice is awesome, if you like those guys, check out Strung Out) This post has been edited by Dantrag: Sep 8 2005, 11:37 PM

Kidn of like the new Greenday album. It's all one long, winding story. Just to tell you though, it's by far not they're best album especially because it is over played, but I must say it is great. I'll check out Mars Volta tomorow (Go weekends plus Kazaa! Keep in mind though, I only use Kazaa to check out one or two songs off of an album or to conjoin my favourite albums and always end up buying the songs I download) but I have alot of bands to check out this weekend like Youth in Asia, 86 this, check out some more NOFX, some Black Maria, and ofcourse Rx Bandits and Strung Out. Man, this is going to take a long freaking time.
Well, now for my music. Hate, an acoustic guitar solo I created in which I occasionally yell "Hate" as what we call a kicker here, aka something that escalates feelings. The solo is stange and pretty fast, but the kicker makes you confused and think of ways the song appeals to you. Also, I'm about to work on my Betrayal acoustic opening and the tune to I Will Never Change which yours truely, I created.
By the way, I'm not amazing at guitar but I think these openings and tunes are pretty good. Maybe I can get them up on-line soon, but it currently is unlikely.
Anyways,Morrowind soundtrack.

QUOTE(Dantrag @ Sep 10 2005, 10:40 PM) I'm listening to Pickpocket by At The Drive-In. Very good band, and The Mars Volta was made from its break-up. Two good things and one bad! anyone heard them? It seems like nobody has heard of any band that I post... Well i must confess that I really haven´t but it then makes me curious....do you have any links to the works of some of the bands you mention? It would be nice to hear some samples of theis music...

Here you go, minque. The Mars Volta <--Click on 'Multimedia' for some free samples. (legal, of course. they did put it on their official website...) At.The.Drive-In <--Click on 'Listen' Dream Theater doesn't allow previews on their site, but go buy a Cd; you won't be disapointed. Rush <--Probably heard them, but they are well worth mentioning anyway. Strung Out They don't have plain old music files, but they have videos. Tell me what else I've posted here if you're interested, and I'll give a link. I just can't remember them all. This post has been edited by Dantrag: Sep 11 2005, 03:54 AM

Okay, I'm listening to the Mars Volta right now and I must say, I'm very impressed, though I must also say I've only listened to one song so far. Drunkship of Lanters rocks!
EDIT: The widow (I'll never sleep alone) rocks many, many socks. Also, Strung out is awsome, as does At The Drive-in.

QUOTE(Dantrag @ Sep 11 2005, 06:27 AM) I like 'Take the Veil Cerpin Taxt" and "Roulette Dares (The Haunt Of)" the best from their Deloused album. "The Widow" is one of the best songs on Frances, along with "L'Via L'Viaquez". I'm actually surprised that you like At The Drive-In and The Mars Volta considering their almost chaotic style. I actually find myself wondering how many of The Mars Volat's songs are imrpov. Actually, I'm not very suprised that I like them. I like tons of different types of music, ranging from the Ramones to Jamaraqui, and even dabble in some country music. Some of their songs are improv? Which ones? Anyways, Virtual Insanity by Jamaraqui.
