Norton, The hanger of the station


Norton with one hundred earthen guards stood still waiting for the leader of the station, he had a officer take notes on the way the hanger looked

Satyana, station 413

OOC: one hundred? that´s a huge inspection...uh!


Satyana opened the gate to the hangar and greeted Norton


"Hail, I´m Satyana Viann, commander, please enter the premises"

Norton

OOC: Yeah they are going to search the entire station up and down

Helllo Sayana, i am admiral norton, these men will inspect the place, while you give me a personal tour

Veda
Pluto, Outside North Entrance - 3rd HDS

Veda nodded to Kratos as he also slowly advanced against the entrance, giving orders to the Data Bot via his mic to take a closer look at the destroyed Rykar ship.

"Lets call in the others!" Veda said to Kratos before saying a code to move his mic to another channel getting in contact with the TAG Assault Crafts.

"Perimeter has been made around the north entrance, come in for landing" Veda said before walking up to Kratos and to the north entrance.

He could clearly see the huge metal gate was locked. He slided his weapon back as he took a closer look at the bodies around the gate. They where all clear for any usefull information.

"Okey. Looks like we need to blow the entrance open and storm straight in for the first quarters as planned" Veda said to Kratos as he took up a small bomb that he sat onto the middle of the gate before stepping back as the others came standing by the side of the gate.

"Clear!" Veda cried out before pressing the button, making the whole gate blow up and twisting the metal.

The troops looked around the corner and started opening fire. There where a long corridor and in the end of it a protective bunker for defense where the Rykar stood and replied to the fire, shooting back with their Laser guns. Veda sat down on one knee before he opened fire sending one Rykar's head of into the distance making a fountain of blood coming up as the Rykar fell back.

"Throw in a granade Kratos!" Veda said to Kratos as he placed his eye on the scope shooting against the well protected Rykar Elite troops.

Kratos
Kratos took a frag grenade from the bandoleer across his chest, primed it, and flung it towards the Rykar bunker. "Fire in the hole!" he yelled, and then there was a loud explosion as the grenade detonated. He looked towards the bunker, and saw the grenade had blasted it open, and killed several of the Rykar inside. a few had survived with injures. He levelled his rifle at them, and killed them quickly. he spoke into his com unit "this bunker clear. Proceed with the main objective. Be on the lookout for hostiles. Report any and all engagements"

Veda
Pluto, First Level - 3rd HDS

Veda moved in holding his rifle high as he scanned around as he moved to the bunker where the corridor splitted in two, on straight forward and one to the right.

He gave out a hand signal, sending the troops of Juliet storming fast to the right and Veda moved forward encountering the Weapon Lock room. There were already several Rykars rushing to their positions as Veda looked into the room picking two Rykar's down with one bullet each as they headed for their positions. Veda gave a signal to stay outside the door...

"Move in on my signal!" He ordered before taking up a flashgranade throwing into the door frame, bouncing off and landing in the middle of the room before exploding, blinding most of the Rykar soldiers.

"Go go go!" Veda yelled before rushing in with his rifle high, taking down some blinded and confused Rykars point blank. Some Rykar's hiding behind some control panels engaged sending Veda leaping behind a huge control panel. He leaned over the panel opening fire at the Rykar's sending one straight to the floor with two critical hits and wounding the other before they sent out a shot hitting Veda in the kevlar, near his shoulder area.

Ignoring the pain Veda stood up at his feet firing shots at the temporary blinded Rykar's killing them instantly before falling back behind the panel reloading his weapon.

Kratos
Kratos ran into the room behind Veda, and ducked behing a computer console when the Rykar began returning fire. He stood and snapped of several shots, downing three and injuring two others, before droppong downa gain as a flurry of shots passed through where his chest had been moments before. Hetook another grenade and cooked it off until only a cpuple of second remained, and then lobbed it over his shoulder towards the Rykar. He was rewarded with a loud explosion mixed with the shrieks of dying Rykar. He poked his head up and saw the survivors milling about, temporarily disoriented by the blast. He felled two more before the others returned fire again.

Edward

The roomw as quiet except for the clicnking of metal parts, Edward removed the outer casing and ebgan examiing the inner work of the generator. He turned it on so he could see it work. The machine whirred to life, followed by a whirring sound and a gushing sound like runnin gwater. Edward took a closer look at the project field. He ran his ahnds through it.

"Hmm it's as if nothing it there, nothing but air." next he got a small laser pointer nd shined it through the field, it didn't penetrate it. Leaving the laser turned on, edward lay it down on a counter pointed at the shield. edward made his way to the other side of the shield and looked at the laser. he couldn't see the beam.

"I see then, so it's a double polarized gas, it blocks all types of electromagnetism. Not very useful in a war. might as well just scratch crosshatches over an entire spaceship and get similar results. This won't do, I'll need to design a brend new generator. Perhaps a magnetic field, or ideally a plasma shield would prevent the intrusion of anything. The hard part will be creating a plasma powerful enough to be worth it."

Having decided on what to do Edward began drawing out the schematics, occasionally referring to a textbook or two for help in designing the generator.

"Let's see I'll need something ionized to power the plasma, and a curren't will have to be run through the substance to trigger plasma generation."

He searched through the 265th edition physics and chemistry handbook. picked several highly ionic compounds that mgiht work. It was all theoretical, edward knew that no one had yet been able to control plasma. the rykar had simple plasma weapnos, but something like a plasma forcefield had never been accomplished before. Edward was set on at least attempting to create a plasma shield

Veda
Pluto, First Level - 3rd HDS

Veda reloaded his weapon and continued, giving all the dead Rykar's a controlled look before he went on to the second level, nearing the Control Room.

Storming fast up the stairs they came to the Unit Barracks, a long corridor leading to the Control Room and on each side of the walls doors into the units rooms. The place was pretty blown up and several Rykar troops stood behind twisted metal doors and peeking out from the rooms opening fire sending Veda to a dive as he was in the stairs.

Some of the soldiers tired to shoot down the Rykar but once they showed their heads from the stairs they where shot down, thrown down the stairs violently. As Veda reached for one of the troops preventing him from peeking up a small explotion followed, the sounds of a objective piercing through the air followed before a missiles appeared for a split second before going straight into the floor right infront of the stairs sending them all flying through the air.

Veda got on his feet fast before rushing through the ruins and opened fire, killing two Rykar's including the one with the rocket launcher with the first burst from his weapon.

Kratos
Kratos finished off the remianing Rykar and ran after Veda, opening fire as he spotted the Rykar hiding behind the doors. His surprise attack took three of them down before they returned fire. He cursed and ducked around the corner again, the shots coming close enough to his face for him to feel the scorching heat.

Satyana , station 413

"A personal tour?" Satyana smiled at Norton..it was a wise thing to act friendly towards inspectors...." Well follow me then, inspector" she said leading him to the first laboratory where she made her experiments with enhanced foodstuffs

She showed him the genetic tests with the wheat-germs....they were genetically manipulated to yield a new kind o wheat....higher protein-content as well as more resistent to sicknesses....then of course the ability to give about 5 crops a year also made the experiments a value....

Then there were the enhanced soy-protein.....which was useful in making meat-sustitutes......

"So what do you say, inspector? Are we heading in the right direction?"

Norton, Station 413


"Yes everything looks fine, and can i tell you a little secret...? the only reason i was scting so hard nosed about everything is because being admiral that makes me one of the three strongest people in the milkyway. Their was an inspector on board from the prime minister, and i was just pretending to be so cautious. I have heard of you, and your brilliant works. And of course you have heard of me."

Veda
Pluto, Second Level - 3rd HDS

"Covering fire!" Veda yelled with his powerful voice sending the soldiers up starting firing at the Rykar sending them behind the cover of doors and other debris.

As they shot Veda charged up the stairs leaping into one of the rooms before he used his granade launcher on his weapon blasting his way through the walls before he came up to the remaining Rykar. With a loud cry he leaped onto one of the, sending the bayonet right into the Rykar killing it instantly before he swung it around taking down another with a throat slit before setting a few bullets into the wounded ones.

"Clear!" Veda cried back to Kratos and the others as he scanned around the corridor, seeing both bodies of humans from when the Rykar attacked and the now fresh corpses from the Rykar.

"The Control Room is only a few meters away, through the next corridor and then up some stairs then we will encounter a huge round room of two levels. We split in two groups! Me and Kratos will move in from the left when we are in the control room, we will move by your covering fire two the second level getting a good overlook and then we shoot the Rykar's down from the behind will you others storm straight on!" Veda said as he showed the room on a map that was projected from a small device on his gauntlet.

Kratos
"You heard him! Move out!" Kratos yelled, sending the soldiers scrambling to their objective. "Heh, that never gets old" he said to Veda, chuckling. suddenly taking a more serious tone, he checked the power pack of his rifle. It was still good for another 100 shots, enough to get him through the rest of this mission. "Let's go Veda, those Rykar wont hang around waitng for us all day"

Veda
Pluto, Second Level - 3rd HDS

"Yeah" Veda replied to Kratos sending the soldiers along with them as they moved through the next corridor without needs to fire.

Stopping outside the main door into the control room Veda got in contact with the Juliet squad. They had taken control of the Defense- and Communication Room. They gave off a small smile before setting a small charge at the door. He had told the Juliet enginners, 'Key' and 'Jester' to turn off all power inside the control room.

"The plan is clear. I've gotten a reply from the guys in Juliet, they have completed their objective. Only one bad thing, a very bad thing is that the Rykar is equipet with one of their Combat Droids!" Veda said with a serious tone, and pretty pissed to.

The Rykar Combat Droid was a highly advanced combat droid, thick armor and heavy weapons. A right nightmare actually...

Kratos
"Finally. I was wondering when we'd come across one of those. This little baby was designed with those things in mind" he said, patting the laser rifle. "It should cut straight through that armour like it wasn't even there"

Veda
Pluto, Entering Control Room - 3rd HDS

"Hehe, think I'll change bullets for once" Veda said, Kratos cheered him some up. He took out the magazin and clipping on a new, this one with some further advanced armor penetrating bullets. He charged up the assault rifle before going up to the door.

"Get ready!" Veda said out loud with a grin before blowing up the door, the troops went in first and threw themself behind the first small wall surrounding the control room before starting firing against the Rykar, not taking them on surprise tho. The Rykan returned heavy fire as Veda and Kratos moved in and started moving their way left and up the stairs to the second control room level.

The troops threw down granades and shot clip after clip on the Rykan, taking down only a few before the heavy guns of the Rykar Combat Droid made them go to cover. The heavy fire from the Rykar Combat Droid made it feel like it was a earthquake and its rounds had imense sound as it kept sending bullets against the troops.

Veda and Kratos got swiftly up to second level of the control room, looked out from the balcony. The Rykar had already seen them and returned fire, Veda took his eye onto the scope and turned on thermal vision before looking over the edge clipping down three Rykar's, the armor penetrating bullets pinned them to the floor with huge wounds, letting out large piles of blood.

"Lets see if we can take out that piece of metal out!" Veda said with a grin as he lightend up the area around him as he sent of a few bullets against the Rykar Combat Droid. You could already see some parts of the barrel on Veda's gun turning red and when he fired you could almost mistake his gun with flamethrower due to the high explosives that made the armor penetrating bullets to go so fast.

Rann and Syke, Research Station 413

Rann burst in the door with his disc in hand. "Where's Sis?" he asked Syke, who was now relaxing, but something was different; Rann noticed that his gun was within reach.

"She left to get inspected." Syke answered.

"What's with the gun?" Rann asked, nodding his head towards it.

"Have you already forgotten that we owe money to a crime lord?" Syke asked, raising an eyebrow.

"Actually..." Rann began sheepishly, "Yes. Because of this." he said, showing him the disc. "590."

"Apply to college." Syke said in a tone that left no argument.

"Why? I could get a fine job by fixin-"

"I don't care how well you could do without it! I just want you off the station with a valid reason so that Satyana doesn't worry!"

Rann suddenly knew what this was about; the money owed. It was a good idea to be separate, so Rann merely nodded. "I'll do it now."

He sat down by the computer shared by the family and put the disc in, and holograms popped up, giving him a choice of possible colleges to apply to. When he was sure that Syke wasn't watching, he pressed only one; the University of Mars. He didn't want to be too far away.

He watched the screen for a second as his scores were compared to those of other applicants. Within moments, he got another screen stating that he was accepted, but would have limited choice of classes and rooms, and also that the school would pay three-fourths of the tuition. That last quarter would have to be worked out with Satyana...

He selected two available courses, Mechanical Engineering and Computer Science; there was no need to sign up for a bunch of classes to not show up. At least he could easily ace those without too much problem.

"Alright, I'm going to the university of Mars." Rann said to Syke, showing him the screen. "I'll have to discuss financial stuff with Sis when she gets back."

"You'll need to leave now, and take these." Syke said, tossing him his pelt with his pistols on it.

"I can't have these on campus!" Rann exclaimed, but he would be glad to take them along.

"You're a genius; figure it out." Syke ordered.

"You're awfully bossy." Rann muttered. When Syke asked him to repeat he merely asked. "Where can I find Sis?"

"Try the Research Area." Syke answered. "I'll pack your stuff onto the ship, just meet me there after you've figured everything out with Satyana."

Rann nodded and wandered the station looking for his sister.

Satyana station 413, research area

"So inspector Norman..you say you are satisfied with us? Then maybe I can ask for more money then? These experiments cost some good money you know..besides I have my two younger brothers to take care of"

Sjhe then heard the sound of running feet..she smiled, it had to be Rann......her baby brother.....

Wonder what he´s been up to now......?

Kratos
Jonacin laughed over the roar of the battle. "This is what i was born for!" he yelled, pumping round after round into the Rykan below him. A few shots struck him, but were dissipated by the magnetic shield of his cybernetics. He crew a bead on the shoulder servos of the Combat droid and fired. The shot went straight through the machine, severing the circuitry of the servos, rendering the weapons uselessa as the only pointed straight down now. He took another shot, sending this one through the things power core. "EVEYONE DOWN!" he yelled, diving for cover, as the droid's core overloaded and vaporised everything and everyone around it.
