Hmmm better stop playing tic tac...whatever....that is off topic so....beware!

I´ll just say Satyana would probably not take part in some fighting......just because I am not familiar with the future weaponry....so she will stick to research the food-enhancement....maybe take some course at the uni....

Then of course she will have to maintain the power-supply of the station......let´s hope it´s a nuclear power unit....such as a "fast breeder" or a fusion-thingy....

Going under the same topic, I thought that me and LoneWolf could head out for Mars and get the call by Admiral Norton changing course to the Research Station.

Was just wondering Gamer... How many... FFA (if it was that you called it) troops, ships etc. do you have around and inside the station now. Would be nice to know

Aren't they in pluto though. dantrag, or someone else, has said there is no hyperspace, so it would take you days, if not weeks, before you could reach Mars. O.o just a thought.

I suppose you could do a time paradox. so that all teh events you are talking about ocurred before the current situation in ?Mars. Thus you will arrive near mars jsut in time to get the cal; :S

Well, its pretty boring if you understand me if we are going to get together with the rest when its several days or months to get to where the others are located when we take up a RPG look and not so much on the reality...

Well i agree, there is no way we can do this without some fast form of transportation. otherwise we will all be old an decrpid before all our characters get to meet. O.o I'll leave it up tot eh cretors to decide how to deal with the problem. or we can just pretend the planets are a skip and a hop away from each other and jsut have a funtime with that.

Yeah but since we're only dealing with two solar-systems it shouldn't be that fast. We could take an idea from Cowboy Bepop, as in we could have a few warpgates sitting around which turns two weeks worth of travel into 3-4 days.

i always imagined those things to make two weeks into like an hour or so....

and what's good about those is that they have gate stations, so an enemy battle cruiser is not going to be able to use your warpgate or nothin.

and they can also be destroyed.

Only 1 Frigate with about 200 crew and soldiers aboard, thirty of which have landed on the research station.

I think the same as you Shogun... 1 week would become like half an hour or so, just to make it more interesting. And Gate Stations too could be pretty smart, one of the key things in the war would be to hold such a station..
