Name: Avlin Cox

Race: Human

Allegiance: None, but symphatizes with the Peace Fighters

Age: 26

Physical appearance: Slender and tall, with short brown hair. Usually a slightly unkempt appearance.

Personality: Impulsive, roguish, and does much things for money. He is inventive and has an obsession with tinkering. Nearly everything he and his crew have has been made or adjusted by him, following the 'if it doesn't explode, it works' rule of thumb. Loyal to his friends but not to anything else. He is also best left a distance away from any mechanical appliances - he has a habit of dissembling things just to see how they work, and to see if there are any useful parts for his own inventions in it.

Equipment: Standard body armor, bought illegally from deserters from the human-Rykar war, but with the insignias removed. Not worn unless needed. Self-made machinegun, the "KIL-U-DEDD 4000" , made out of parts cobbled together from various weapons stolen, found, and purchased on the black market. Has a high rate of fire, and a bad tendency for jamming in the most inopportune moments. No cybernetics; unlike many people, he is a bit uncomfortable with the idea of getting things added to one's body.

Ship: The SS Swashbuckler , sometimes referred to as the SS Deathtrap on account of the slightly volatile - but slightly better - technology aboard of it. A rather small, fast craft built for speed rather than combat strength. A lot of space on the Swashbuckler is taken by illegal cargo. It has a crew of 18, all colorful characters, and intensely loyal to eachother. It has two weak missile launchers, primitive armor, and it's anti-laser protection is second to none.
Avlin made it using parts of various spaceship wrecks, which is why it is rather asymmetrical to look at.

Brief History: Avlin was born to a large family on the planet Neptune. He was the oldest son, having three younger brothers and three younger sisters, and was always an avid tinkerer as well as a mischievious person. His father was an officer in the Human Defence Force and died in the Rykar - Human war some 5 years ago. Since then, Avlin took up a career of smuggling, using the SS Swashbuckler , to feed his family. Avlin has been in a lot of places of the Milky Way, and has gained some experience with the world. While away on a smuggling venture, the Third Battle of Neptune occured at his homeworld. His family lived under one of the biodomes that had to be cut off, and his mother and all of his siblings save his youngest brother , Jeremy, died. Jeremy was taken in by Avlin and now dwells on the Swashbuckler. He is regarded as one of the crew, and has a restraining influence on them when they go on planet-leave. Avlin symphatizes with the Peace Fighters, and though he hasn't joined them, is one of their regular suppliers (he even gives them discounts from time to time) and knows the location of their bases. He has a lot of contacts throughout the Milky Way.

Since dantrag isn;t on I'm going to rop through what he chose to ignore, and therefore play the Prime Minister.  It's his fault for ignoring my post if it doesn't fit his character.

A not to florodine, change peace-fighters to a rykar squad please.  Archer never ordered none of his men to attack anybody. There is, however, a Rykar squad currently in the Milky Way Solar-System, so it seems highly likely it was them that attacked the space-station.  Minque, you understand, just make sure there are no problems, if he doesn't get this message since you're RPing with him maybe you could help him along.
