I think they where around the Arena area... Maybe they left the Arena, at least she spotted Arneth running out or something for the battle. I think she would be heading for the battle or something kvleft.gif

Alright if I may make a quick suggestion.

STOP POWERPLAYING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
summoning 'hundred's of skeletal warriors -_- I mean come on let us be realistic, the energy required to summon that many is enormous, and the the linkage between the summons and the casters mind(yes summons are dependent on the casters mind,  shold the caster be distracted the summon would deteriorate.) would be so astronomical it would kill the caster.

I could understand a dozen or more, if youa re an extremely powerful mage.

so please let us keep the powerplaying to a minimum.  powrerplaying forces other players to powerplay in return to survive,  so once someone powerplays everyone else has to powerplay.

Seconded.  Remember, Dragon Ball Z is not an interesting RP, it's a bunch of people who start off a battle looking pretty normal but because they keep powerplaying each other it looks really stupid and they finish every battle with really high yellow hair.  I don't want that, and I hope no one else does either.

Interesting RPs involve weak characters as well as strong ones, and every character needs something that makes them human, some vulnerability, something any character could get them with.  Simply because you thought of a way to cover every loose end in your defense structure does not mean you should actually cover every loose end.  Interesting RPs involve the exploitation of PCs weaknesses.  Otherwise, really, there's no tension, no drama.

Lykaon's armor in itself is a weakness. It hides his identity, but is unique, and thus makes him idetifiable, and he's kinda...unsociable.

Not to mention with that much weight, he'd be screwed if he fell in the water. He is inhumanly strong (with good reason, which will be revealed when he is unmasked...) but he can't swim in full ebony. No one realistically could. And the mask wouldn't help. Even if he got to the surface, unless removed the mask would be full of water...

Oh, and he's entirely a melee warrior, which leaves him open to assault from mages and archers.

More of mages though, Ebony is a pretty hard armor to pierce. laugh.gif

Here's the thing though, RPs are character driven, and that means that when doing something... questionable, it's good to first check with the player you're RPing with and one of the leaders of it to make sure they approve it. See, Since RPs are character driven, the other player doesn't want to make their character something he isn't just to keep him alive. It's not really fair to the other players. I'm not saying you can't do something, just that it's best to work with the other players around that event to make sure they can work it out, and possibly alter your move around to cope with the other characters who wouldn't quite fit that scenario.

An exaggerated example would be if suddenly I decided to blow up a magic battery. Something like that is very big, and obviously most characters in the area (in fact, all) would perish if one exploded. That's why I would need to talk to one of the leaders of the RP as well as consult with any players that would be effected by this move, because it's huge. Then, from there I would negotiate. "Well it's too early in the game to wipe out all coastal cities so maybe instead of that I could, say, break a geer and cause close to the same desired effect for my character without doing something that would A. Either kill the other characters or B. force them to change their character to adapt."

So, remember, not everything you do requires this but in the case of casting a spell no mortal creature in all of Tamriel would be able to pull-off, it's better to get consent for that.

Mailk's biggest weakness is plain to see in my newest post. He's an extreme masochist and he won't always wait for his enemy to strike him or may not care if they do.

i don't get it florodine. even if they are just ilusions, it would still require a constant stream of energy to maintain them O.o

hmm well whatever, I'll just bring in to play, an element i had in store for only the most dire circumstance.

The Soul Blade and Blades of Judgement

A sword from oblivion with the same cruelty of arcyakt's staff. it feeds of the souls it kills, the 6' blade grows ever stronger, but unlike arcyakts staff it cannot hold them forever, instead it consumes the souls to feed it's power, and it also has a limit on the number of souls it can hold. once this limit is reached the soulblade can be split.

This reveals twoblades of equal length, known as the swords of judgement. one blade is an irridescent white. it appears to glow from within, yet it's surface is like a rainbow. the other blade is dark, blues purpla,s red,s and black dancing across it's surface. these two blades are both in the physical and metaphysical state. used individually they are like regular swords, though the white blade is lethal to any undead, and the black is lethal to anything that treasures life,

However, when both swords are used in conjunction passing through a victim, the do not render apart flesh and bone. and instead pass through the soul. in that infintesmally small fragment of time, the blades decree jugement on the soul. if it b granted mercy the being lives. knowing that they were spared, and as such are changed fighting for the side of the one who spared them. ifmercy is not granted, the soul is violently stripped away from the body. The swords decide this of their own accord, the user having little bearing n the matter.

and if I may note, this sword(s) will not remain throughout the RP, and will be used only for this battle.

well I didnt say the silhouette was the one doing the spell, did i? no i didnt it said they appeared, its under the control of Miran, not the silhouette, and miran isnt fighting so he can completely concentrate on the illusions, and killing the illusions doesnt do anything, cause THEY'RE ILLUSIONS, they arent there to fight, just to be used as a scare tactic, you dont need to do this whole dramatic sword thing to get rid of them, once they're found out miran will let the spell go

do not tell me how i am supposed to write. if i choose t embellish details then so be it.
and the "whole dramatic sword thing" was used on orcs and goblins. i only referred to the illusions later, and all i did wass make them dissappear. So now that this thing is over, let us return back to normal and fun RP.

the sword will be put to rest now, but if this powerplaying happens again I'll use them.

Now now, lets not start a fight here.

Lets just put it behind us and continue the RP, I would hate to see an arguement erupt that could close the RP, you know.

It should be noted that casting a maintaining a illusion of that magnitude would be mentally fatiguing and magically drainging, however. wink.gif

I have an idea, how 'bout you didn't summon them, but you more called them? I knwo it is simmilar but they would be their own beings, so you wouldn't have to use "brain power" or what ever....

Florodine, we understand you're inexperienced so we will try to be patient with you but remember that we do understand the technicalities of RPing a bit more so try to listen as best as possible.
