QUOTE(Channler @ Oct 13 2005, 08:49 PM)
Sub-General Anilise Bermina, Flagship of the Wildcat Forces"Ha, so they think they can rally?" She causually strode over towards the command console and opened up with comunications with the rest of the BattleGroup. "Eccelon and Hermidos give me a full broadside into their uncomers. Thermola, prepare to release a EMP on the ships. Adrople, what is your damage report?" The bridge commander quickly answered her call, "Mam, minimul hull damaged sustained in the Veta Quadrant, structure damage at 0%. Requesting permision to resume firing!" "Granted" Three ships were unleashing a myrad number of shells upon the 501st with their experimental Anti-Fighter Rail Guns. The AF styled guns were quite smaller then their cousins which were used in Anti-Cruiser warfare. Still, the shells didn't explode on contact with ships, they merely ripped holes in them. The gunnery commander looked up from his station, "Mam, their commanding officer is KIA and almost 1/3rd of their squadron has joined him." "Damn," We're going to have to pull out. "There's nohing more we ca--" Mark was cut off as one of the battleship shells pierced his right wing. It sent him off course a bit but he recovered quickly and brought up his galaxy map on screen. There was a rarely used warp gate (is that what they are called?) about twenty minutes flight time from the position. Since there was never any traffic out there, Mark wasn't even sure if it would work. It's our only hope. "All 501st ships, there is nothing we can do about these things, we're pulling out. Please follow me." he said calmly, then opened the link to Juac's ship. "Juac, get up! If you don't get up we're going to have to leave you!" he yelled, still convinced that Andrews was not dead.

I should of became a teacher. Heres to the end.
Juac tried to reach his left arm to the self destruct initiation key, but to his dismay, a sharp section of the ship had broked loose and pierced its way through his arm. My luck...Sub General Anilise"EMP Burst the stragglers, however let some get away. We need the word to spread that the renegade 501st on orders by the Freedom Fighters dared to attack the Wildcats battlegroup." the general told her gunnery commander. Within seconds several large bursts of energy flew towards the retreating ships. This post has been edited by Channler: Oct 16 2005, 08:11 AM

Satyana station 413After a good 30 min of venting, the instruments monitoring the atmosphere showd ok values for entering the laboratory, so she switched off the system. The automatic electronic doorlock was still in position "locked".....that was weird...maybe something was wrong with the main comp? Damn it..if only Ranny was home..he would have fixed it in a sec! Now she had to manually unlock the door....blah! She decided to wait doing that....it was no hurry to get into the lab at the moment..she could as well take something to eat first.... Then she came to think of that evil man that Arthur.....where was he? she couldn´t remember exactly what happened just after the release of chlorine-gas... "Could it be that he still was inside the lab? Oh damn..then he was probably dead....hmmm a good thing but still....disposal of corpses was not her favourite thing! Definitely she needed some fortification before investigating the lab! OOC: Oh noes.....Arthur can stay in the lab for a while...it serves him right!

Mark circled Juac's ship for a minute, trying to figure out what to do. Did he wait for his friend to wake up, if he was even alive, and endanger what was left of the squad? Or did he leave his friend to make sure everyone made it out safely?
Damnit.
The 501st once again formed behind Mark seeing as he had basically taken lead of the squad. He sent the coordinates to everyone's Navcom, including Juac's. They were going to head back to Triumph and figure out what was going on...
The 501st were speeding away from the Wildcats and towards the warp gate when Mark picked p something odd on is radar. A larg wavee of static had erupted from where the wildcats were on it was speeding towards them.
"An EMP, move it stragglers, floor it!" Mark yelled, directed to the heavier fighters who had fallen behind. But it was no use. The slower fighters had been swallowed up in the EMP, their ships disabled.
"Twelve ships. Twelve ships is all that are left," a voice said over the radio as they approached the warp gate. They travelled in silence for the rest of the way until they got as close as the warp would take them to Triumph. About a half hour of flying time was left until they reached the space station.
Twleve ships....

Avlin Cox - SS Swashbuckler, Docked at Mars
Avlin brooded in the Swashbuckler. He had a plan for making the damn kids pay... He'd disable their lab instruments and take some parts for personal use.
Avlin then went to see that he had the right supplies for this mission: A balaclava, a blackjack, some energy disablers, a wirecutter, and a packet of chewing gum. He also brought his improvised machine gun with him, just incase things got nasty.
Then, once it got a bit dark, he made his way to the delivery entrance and took his time to observe the security on it...

Wes Hansek Bottanics Trading Zone
Suddenly a huge blast came from behind, and ship began flying forward. legg shifted it along to dodge to the heavy traders. Police shis swept to the scene.
"What the Hell was that?!" screamed Kramer.
"Somebody fired on us in a hamster cave trading center? It's suicide!"
"That's are man!" yelled Wes. "Let's go, he'll follow."
The jetted out of the trading center with their smuggler behind them at full speed, and behind him, dozens of police vessels in tow. It didn't take long to lose them, and once they did the smuggler sent some more missiles. The Peregrine warrior dropped some duds to distract the missiles, and came in really close to the smuggler's vessel so they couldn't fire.
"Requesting a board," Wes communicated to the Vessel.
"Wes Hansek!" screamed the smuggler. "I've been hunting your boat for years you son of a umbrella seller! I'll kill you!"
"Is this what you meant by know him?" asked Lebbon.
"Just get the charts."
They docked together, the smuggler didn't hesitate. he ran into the Peregrine warrior with his gun in hand. "You honoured user! Give me one reason not to hamster cave killing you!"
Wes Hansek stayed cool, and raised his hand, which held a detonator with the button pressed down, and a little red light beeping. The smuggler paused.
"Okay, Jag, it's time to talk," said Wes.
Behind him, his men slipped away to board the smuggler's ship and retrieve the chart.
"hamster you Wes. I hamster cave trustedm you and you went behind my back."
"I never did compassion."
"You sicked the entire hamster cave mob on me. You ruined my career!"
"You have me confused. All I did was leave the ship during the attack."
"Yeah and you stole 400 for yourself."
"I can't help it, I see an opportunity and I go for it."
Wes saw from the corner of his eye, his men were back aboard with his charts.
"You betray me and you get what's coming to you," Jag demanded.
"I didn't betray you, Jag!" Wes yelled, throwing the detonator to the ground in frustration. Jag looked surprised before the flash went off. Seconds later he found himself back on his ship with the gate closed, his weapons disabled and the Peregrine Warrior speeding away.

Edward-UM Where the Hell is that boy," Edward siad to himself looking down at the lobby fro an upstairs corridor.
"I'll check the dock one lst time, and then I'll check the lab,"
So Edward went back to teh docking area,
"Rann!! you in here?" his footsteps and voice multiplied by the space util he echoed. he looked around, and listened, he heard scraping on he othesie of one of the gates, and an occasional spark of someone fiddleing with live wires. but since they came from the other side of the gate Edward didn't make much of it, Probably repairs or something
He then headed for the lab, hearing in the background what sounded like the lock on one of the gates opening.
OOC: your chance to follow him bob.

As Edward was walking to the lab, he ahd the most uncomfortable feeling, as if someone were watching him. He occasionally glanced behind him, only to find the hall way empty. he paused in front of the lab door, hearing a sound within, Edward slowly reached for the keypad and opened the door, inside he found "Rann,
"there you are, I've been looking everywhere for you,"

"It has come to our attention that elements of the 100th Navy Battlegroup have changed for the worse. Yesterday at approximatly 1400 hours the 501st Heavy Attack Squadron opened fire upon the un-armed experimental ship group, codenamed Wildcats. Reason's for this betrayel are uncertain, but what is certain is that these offenders when caught will be brought up on charges of Crimes Against Humanity. An offense that at the minimum contains the death penalty."
"If the possible whereabouts of the 501st are none, please do not hesitate to make contact with your local Defense Ministry Official."
"Stay tuned for future updates reguarding this matter"

Wes Hansek Fraternity, Unknown Space
"There she is!" Wes grinned as they approached the massive space-station. "The center of radicalism throughout the solar system. You want to escape Government oppression, you come there. No key required. If you're wanted, you're welcome."
The communicator went off. "Please state your business at Fraternity," it said.
"We're hiding from the mob," said Wes Hansek.
A new voice came through the Comm. "I know that ship, you're the guys that assassinated Grubbuh."
Wes looked a little dishevelled. He didn't know he actually managed to kill him.
"What's your name?" asked the voice.
Wes hesitated, then hit the communicator button. "What do you care? Lemme in, we need to refuel and get out of here."
"Okay," said the first voice, "You're clear the dock at port 316 to your left. Please leave all fire-arms on your ship. High precision laser are allowed after inspection, any blade material is allowed, no rithum blades longer than two feet though. Thank you."
"Easy as pie," said Wes as he switched off the comm.
"Right, pie with razors in it."
"What? these guys love wanted criminals."
"They recognized our ship!" said Chev.
"Well, we're famous."
"Fame is only good if you have the compassion to back it up!"
"And we will!"
Nicholas Archer Archer II
"Are we ready to go?" Archer asked as they set out in The Whistle
"Check," Said the admiral.
Archer handed command to the Admiral as they departed into open space. Tension was high among the fleet. They were about to cross a line they had not crossed before. They entered the warp gate and appeared at the space-station outside Saturn hours later. The fleet shifted through public space, with smaller ships flying by, some stopping to get a good look, many people curious as to what was going on. There were no records of HDF movement in the area, what was a military fleet doing in their space?
"There it is!" called the admiral, and they looked over the space-station. "HDF's main vessel supplier, the IGV factory A. On my command everyone launch their TFs"
There was a pause as all the ships in the fleet turned to face the factory that floated in the middle of space. A few robotic scouts zipped out to scan the fleet. "What's going on? Who are you guys?" asked a man interrupting on the commincator.
"Foreman Calligan I presume," said Archer. "Welcome to Hell."
"Now!" the admiral ordered, and immediatly every ship larger than a fighter blasted their TFs forward, which flew through their shields and slammed into the space-station. Immediatly a small defensive squadron flew out the docks. "Deploy the fighters!" the admiral ordered. Archer grinned and departed among the rest of the fighters into open war with the IGV factory's defense system.
"TFs active, launch your scuds!"
Missiles came overhead blasting across space toward the factory. Interceptor missiles rang out the sides of the space-station, catching missiles as they came. A few made it past and tore into the sides of the factory. Oxygen pipes exploded all around the factory.
"Bring in a second volley!" ordered the admiral, and again the missiles flew, this time the interceptors were not fast enough on the reload, and the entire factory combusted within minutes, seconds later becoming nothing more than a heap of steel floating around space.

Edward sighed, he walked over to a table and brought out teh small case that had fragment of rithum in it,
"Since we are in ehre, might as wel get these things scanned, so i can study their structure later," he left the main lab room into a smaller room that contained the electron microscopes, Edward began the tedious process of slide preparation, the ha the computer slice thin slivers of each sample, which were then laid to rest in a thick plastic block, Edward began setting up the large machine twhile the slide dried. After about an hour he inserted the large slide with 36 rithum sampls into the microscope, he typed in the code telling the robot in operation what to scan, and then entered the larger lab area while the microscope did it's tedious scanning procedure.
"Now we wait and then we can get out of here for tonight."he said pulling out his laptop and searching th news, the attack message being the main headlines, while under smaller headings spoke of a base being recaptured from the rykar in pluto, and of a hostile attack against a laboratory orbiting mars.
