QUOTE(DoomedOne @ Oct 9 2005, 12:55 AM) Abstaining from the poll that fails to include the inbetweens. I'll be an assassin/mage hybrid. That sounds fun. Im abstaining from spamming.

I am probably going to be a nightblade(magic and stealth) because of the revemped magic and stealth systems. I will probably use all the stealth skills except for speechcraft, mercantile and security. I can replace those with Alteration, Illusion and Blade.

I am a custom class called "Clepto-Mage"
my Character's History will help Clarify:
WEREWOLFZZ Name: Nameless (publicly) - Lord Bruce Age: Unknown
History: A mere thief as an orphan, this young boy soon became infinitely obsessed with ancient lore and archaeology. After murdering an old priest in a temple library, the man assumed his identity thru the art of disguise combined with a ruse of disease to ward off any would be curious eyes. In that basement library, the young man learned of rituals, spells and most importantly artifacts that were long lost to the memory of the living. After a number of years spent absorbing the volumes of knowledge in that basement, he gathered all the vital and worthy literature, tomes of magic, artifacts and maps and set out in the dark of night slowly moving everything to a secured dungeon he had cleared out long ago as a child. Once transferred, he set fire to the temple, burning everything to ashes leaving all to believe that the knowledge within perished with the priest that kept it.
After many years traveling the world acquiring the lost artifacts in the literature with the assistance of the accompanied maps, the young man truly became powerful beyond measure.
Once, he was a poor orphan with plenty of cause for ruthless crime for the sake of preservation. But now the hate, envy and ensuing bloodlust that poverty birthed began to wane under the satisfaction of wealth and power.
His travels ultimately led him to Cyrodiil, where one of the maps spoke of a treasure beneath the imperial jail. Posing once more in the familiar role of a thief, Lord Bruce arranged to be arrested and placed deep within the jail... little did he know that it was now that his life's TRUE adventure would begin!

I'll probably be more of a stealthy, thief type person. I like the previous ideas of combining magic and stealth. I never used magic much in MW, so this time in Oblivion I'll try and make more use out of all aspects. I'll probably have a few variations of each type of character. It's always fun to use brute force every now and then, but being quiet and sneaky is what I like more... also I love robbing peoples houses! (Not in real life)

You mention cloaking ones self, what are the skills required for this particular ability. Are there other mystical abilities that can bestow a theif or assasin an extra edge in the execution of his profession? This post has been edited by Discobiscut: Jan 23 2006, 01:25 AM
