Serene Zergonipal
After Sul-Mtuul just left without respondig to her last questions, Serene decided that she has had enough of stubborn old ashkans.....She went to look for Jonacin and Leni...urging for some love and understanding.....what a lucky woman she was having a husband like Jonacin..always understanding and caring..besides..the way he was with the child was overwhelming...Who would have thought a big sturdy redguard..the hero from the famous battle of Arcyakt would be such a wonderful father! Little Leni was her dad´s girl..she always turned to him in case of needs......Like she didn´t really knew her mother, no wonder, Jonacin spent so much time with her.....so much time.
Serene decided to really try to be more with her from now on...if only there would be a chance...she was worried about all this latest events.
She went into a small chamber with a shrine inside..lit some candles and sat down in order to establish contact with Athyn Sarethi....to find out about the redoran troups that he promised to send...
Kyara Zergonipal
As she wandered trough the halls of the shrine she noticed a young man sitting leaning against the walls, eyes closed, looking as if he was praying....She didn´t recognize him at first but then she saw it was Sedrane Mirpal....
She stopped not knowing how to approach him..after all he was the Ashkan..but he surely didn´t look like one...he looked too sad and depressed for that.....
Athyn Sarethi Vivec
He walked slowly through the streets of vivec....when he came to New Vivec Inn he went inside, a glass of brandy would be excellent he thought. Inside he noticed a familiar face......was it? That young Dunmer over there....oh yes it was Sel....Serene´s friend.,,He approached asking in a polite voice:
"Sel! nice to see you again, may I have a seat?"
Mistress Brara Morvayn Ald´ruhn, streets
The terrible rumours had just been heard in the Redoran Council, about someone blowing Morvayn Manor to pieces, Brara hurried away towards her former home, hoping that nobody was in the house at the event.
Arriving she saw nothing but a heap of stone and ashes where her lovely manor once had been.....she was stunned.....couldn´t say a word. A couple of gards and commoners were strolling around on the spot discussing what had happened, apparently nobody was in the house ,,there were no corpses found so far
Brara stood silent......for once not knowing what to do.......unless! She came to think of the mysterious mage living in town, Serene had spoken very well of him....maybe she should....?
She turned around and went to the Mage´s Tower....knocking at the door
"Is someone at home?" she shouted

Megil had remained behind after the meeting had ended, looking down at the training grounds. a soft knock came at the door and a young dunmer woman came in and curtsied before speaking softly,
"Lord Megil, Lord Falx of the legion wishes to see you,"
"Alright lead him here,"
The dunmer bowed and left and a few minutes later she returned with Falx behind her, she directed Falx to a seat, then bowed and left shutting the door behind her,
"So Falx, what is it you wish to discuss,"

QUOTE(Channler @ Oct 23 2005, 01:38 AM) Raxle O'Conner New Vivec InnThe atmosphere of the New Vivec Inn wasn't like most gathering spots. Not only did it accomedate various travellers and pilgrims from all over, but it was also resting area for many lords and lady's, and therefor was always policed so that no fight would ever break out. With it being so popular, it was also crowded, and to Raxle's dismay he couldn't find an empty table anywhere. He found a chair however. Scanning the table of the occupant he deemed that the Dunmer would probably except his company. "Hello good sir, would it trouble you if I'd sit here? It's quite full." He spoke as politely as he could muster to the Dumner at the table. (Danny that was to Sel ok.) Sel, New Vivec Inn"No, it's fine." Sel answered, this man was definately an imperial, hopefully a soldier. "I'm not expecting anyone." As soon as he said that, Athyn approached him. QUOTE(minque @ Oct 23 2005, 10:23 AM) Athyn Sarethi Vivec "Sel! nice to see you again, may I have a seat?"
"Sure." Sel answered. He looked to Raxle and said. "Umm...Sir, this is a good friend of mine, Folvyn." he said, thinking of a common dunmer name. He looked pointedly at Athyn for a second to let him know not to protest the name; a Redoran councillor might not be welcomed here, and would prevent Sel from getting any kind of information.

QUOTE(DoomedOne @ Oct 23 2005, 12:44 AM) Isaarin Sithiln
"Ravvin, good to see you. Someone get him a seat and some tea!" Isaarin demanded. As his servants worked to make Ravvin more comfortable Isaarin began talking. "The two of us are in a pickle at the moment. There's a rumor going around that the Morag Tong are working for the Telvanni now. What did the Telvanni do when the mysterious invasion his the shores of New Vivec? Not much while my guards sacrificed themselves for the freedom of this city, and many died. As a cost to that, I'm low on guards at the moment, and you've probably caught word and many steps I've been taking to secure Hlaalu's place in Vvardenfel politically. I'm a target, all of my higher-ranking officials are targets. The same goes to you."
Raavin, Isaarin's OfficeRaavin nodded. "Is this a freindly warning Isaarin? Or something else?" he asked after a few moments consideration. "I, unlike the Hlaalu still have most of my guards hale and whole, and am a warrior myself. Which I have no doubt you know, for I slew the former leader of this House in a honorable duel." "I wonder," he said silently,....."If the mazte is ok here" He did not really understand why Sel didn´t want to reveal his identity but he trusted the young man and did not question his judgement

Rather dire circumstances kept me from contacting my legionnaires to fight on your behalf. Though I do know that several pockets of legionnaires did work to hold off the invaders, of that I am proud. Unfortionately it happens that they were of the veterans, not the that they can't fight, but I wished that the newer recruits were to gain some combat experience. However it seems not all battles are as easily won." "To counter this mis-communication, or rather a complete breakdown of communication I would like to place someone here in the Hall of Justice as a liason(SP) for future events reguarding the security of New Vivec. Whether you've noticed or not, but many of these soldiers sing praises to your name Megil. After all, so far you are the only one that has given them a home in quite some time." Falx sat quite for several seconds as to let his words sink in to Megil. QUOTE Sel, New Vivec Inn

It almost brought a snicker to Raxle when he heard the dunmer try to use such a common dunmer name to mask such an important figure. One that ordered the possible slaughter of legionnaires in Raxle's area. "Let me introduce myself, the names Raxle O'Conner, 5th Spearman of the Line, Gnisis Legion Outpost." Was that smart, telling them I'm part of the legion and all? Oh well."It is quite a pleasure to meet you Master Folvyn. Where do you hail from my friend?" Raxle went to prod at Athyn a bit. It's not a question of if they could do it, but when. Remember, Ravvin, even the strongest warriors on Nirn has to sleep sometime. That's not even the real issue. The real issue is that now the Telvanni have substantial leverage, what with the well known rumor that my agents have confirmed that they've obliterated the Ashlanders. "So Ravvin, I'm interested. See, we have here opportunity to turn this around on them. Megil Telzeke already distrusts all these factions, and I'm curious of a few things. For one, isn't it a little questionable about the defensive structures of this city? There's a khajiit in my prison whose admitted to being an agent for Megil Telzeke, and claimed that there is an entire undercity below New Vivec, which he knows nothing of. he swears though, that Megil probably has some other source of information deeper than just agents running around. What do you think, Ravvin?" Isaarin took a sip of tea. "What do you think we could do to tear away all of Telvanni's political ties to New Vivec, that is in case you didn't know what I was hinting at."

Serene Zergonipal
She sat quite still in the chamber, oncentrating on reaching Athyn.....she mumbled words of magic that couldn´t be neither heard nor ubderstood.....A faint mist swirled around her.
Kyara Zergonipal
She sat down beside Sedrane, gently stroking his left arm--
"Whats wrong ? " she asked.."You care to tell me?"
"Ahhh, please child, leave me alone" Sedrane was definitely not in the mood of talking to anyone, besides things could get rough soon , and he didn´t fancy the idea of something happening to neither Kyara nor anyone else...
Athyn Sarethi New Vivec Inn
Athyn felt uneasy about the imperial approaching and just grunted a bit on his question "Maar Gaan, he mumbled gutturally"
Mistress Brara Morvayn outside Mage´s Tower, Ald´ruhn
"Hellooooo...anyone at home?" She raised he voice getting slightly impatient, Anthanes just had to be home, she needed his help

And Yes, Megil must have more than informants, informants can't be everywhere at once, and if he has something else - its in that undercity. Megil's little hidden-in-plain-sight madhouse."

Jonacin Zergonipal Jonacin was walking through the ruined shrine with Leni, laughing at her innocent delight at every new sight. Then he saw Serene walking towards them, looking distraught. He took Leni by the hand and went over to Serene. "What's wrong Serene?" he asked her gently

Serene ZergonipalSerene could not get in touch with Athyn Sarethi hrough telepathy..this was the first time she ever failed in this..so she gave up and just went out ogf the room....walking along a dark hallway she spotted a lovely sight...Jonacin approaching..with Leni! "Jonacin! You can´t imagine how glad I am to see you!" Serene was all smiles..then she lifted up her daughter, hugging her warmly, before throwing herself into her husband´s arms.... "I have had these conversations with Kaushad and Sul-Matuul " she said.."And now I can´t reach Athyn Sarethi, I was supposed to tell him to bring those redoran soldiers to our support" Serene silenced for a bit...before she continued: "But I have an uneasy feeling inside me...there´s something foul going on back home in Ald´ruhn as well, I just can´t put my finger on what it is" She kissed her husband.....really deep.....

Isaarin Sithiln New Vivec
"They're alive you say? Interesting... I'd like to know where, they're survival is key if we wish to topple to the Telvanni," said Isaarin. "But I couldn't help in that matter, though I could advise you. Anyway, here's what I'm getting at. Information is a greater guardian than the strongest armor. We need to form an alliance with Megil's city, and what with my sacrifices at Ebonhart and Telvanni's alliance with the Morag Tong, which is under the new leadership of a really cruel, dishonourable man I hear, it won't be difficult. All I'd ask from Megil Telzeke is information I can use to strengthen the forces I am building outside the city, as well as information to keep me a step ahead of Telvanni and the Morag Tong. If I use this information to say... pull a few strings and give me some more financial leverage along the way, its a simple side-effect. I'm letting you in on this as well, because I need you to plead your case too, to make it seem like we're just two houses trying to build ourselves up in defense against the oncoming threat."
Isaarin finished, took a sip of tea, then said, "Does this make sense to you?"

Val-Jeer Streets of New Vivec
The days since the battle had been rough on him. Just at the brink of death, a healer had discovered him and spared him just enough magicka to keep him from dying. He spent the next day in a filthy cot among other wounded combatants. When the healers there finally reached him, the spared him a bit more of their magicka, then sent him on his way.
The rest of his healing had come along slowly, as he still had very little to eat; and the handful of Hlaalans he had been saving had vanished with his old clothes. Still, he couldn't help but admit that he liked the new ones better. They survived the battle without so much as a frayed strand of fabric. And the blood came out so easily... it didn't even leave a stain.
He slumped against the wall of a building; who knows or even cares which building. He slid to the ground and rested there, trying to comprehend how he was going to make some money. That came first, all the other crap would have to wait.
A coin landed before him, ripping him from his thoughts.
The hell?
As he reached for it, another fell from the hand of a passerby.
No way I look like a pauper in this outfit...
Of course, in these days he could easily be mistaken for a noble that had fallen onto hard times. He accepted that explanation and took the two coins. Another passerby came into view.
"Spare some change good sir?"
Two coins landed before him. Val took them with a grin.
