QUOTE(minque @ Nov 12 2005, 01:54 PM) Serene Ald´ruhn"Very well darling! Then we might as well teleport to New Vivec" Serene smiled and took out an amulet from her pocket. "Hold on to me then and off we go" She activated the amulet and in a grey cloud the entire family vanished from the streets of Ald´ruhn Serene with family New Vivec, outside Foreign Quarters"Ahh....here we are, always nauseous this teleporting" It was a chilly clear morning as they arrived, and the buildings were glowing in the morning sun. OOC: I´m off to a party in a while, don´t know if I´ll be able to post anymore today! But Wolfie..feel free to drag your family along in whatever you are up to!... Jonacin"Well, let's see if we can find Megil anywhere, and ask him for a place to stay" Jonacin said to Serene, picking up Leni.

QUOTE(DoomedOne @ Nov 11 2005, 08:50 PM) En'fel Sadrith MoraEn'fel suddenly turned, startled when Amili spoke behind him. "You forgot my reasoning for doing it this way. It has to be me, remember? There's a reason an ashlander killed him. There's a reason he had to be killed a certain way. The people must know who I am. The people must know what I can do. En'fel shot off a frost-ball against the desk, papers spilled around as the desk collapsed with a snowy-crator in it. "It has to look like I battle as well," he said, launching another frostball into the wall. En'fel kept Amili in the corner of his eye as he walked outside the room. He just needed to make it look like an accident. A simple... easy accident. After he fired off the initial blow he could follow up until she looked like that desk. En'fel shot another frost-ball off at the other side of the door, breaking it to bits, making it look like a forced entry. He turned his hand and began sending frost-balls around the upper-chamber. Any second from now he could turn around and launch one at her head. Any second... Amili, Tel NagaAmili watced En'fel. He obviously suspected something, with the way he kept watching her. She examined what she thought to be an expression of wariness, and found it to be one of calculation; did he have ideas similar to her own? My reasoning makes sense, ashlander; but what do you have to gain from this? Virk would be the only other to take control, and he would be much harder on the ashlanders than me... Suddenly, she thought she had it all figured out. He and Virk have made some sort of arrangement. She would have smiled if she didn't care about appearcance at that time; Virk and this ashlander would pay for this. "It looks like enough of a battle. You may leave." She said matter-of-factly. "I have much to do to secure my position, and only a fragment of it involves letting you destroy the tower." If her suspicions were correct, something was going to happen right about now. If not, she would make them happen. With En'fel's death, she could say that she avenged Melkaan, but it was too late.

QUOTE(DoomedOne @ Nov 13 2005, 12:29 AM) En'Fel Sadrith Mora"Yeah, I've doen most of my part. All that's left is one more casualty," En'Fel remarked before turning around an releasing a greater frostball at Amili. Amili, Tel NagaWhile she had been expecting it, the frostball that had been hurled towards her was no less of a surprise. In a quick effort, the cast a shield spell on herself while simulatneously dodging. She ended up in an awkward position; face down behind a desk. She hurriedly composed herself and organized her thoughts. If he's wearing the amulet, I won't need to use the spell...if not, I still don't know if I can even do it.She avioded looking too hard for the amulet; it might tip the ashlander off. He was by no means stupid. She paced in a circle around En'fel, and decided to use her normal arsenal of spells. She held out her palm, and let out a burst of flame towards him, paying particular attention to the reaction; was the amulet on?

He wished she hadn't managed to dodge, he didn't expect her to pull back so fast after he shot his frostball. If she hadn't he would have decked her, but she did, so there they were. He decided that Amili probably had more endurance for casting spells (MP) while En'fel probably had better reflexes, so he needed to use that to his advantage, and not exhaust his magical arsenal too early. When the fireball came, instead of casting a shield spell he launched a lesser frostball to intercept the fireball, creating a blast between the both of them which fell to the ground in ashes. Less than a second after the first frostball En'fel launched a wave of other frostballs at his adversary.

Less than a second after the first frostball En'fel launched a wave of other frostballs at his adversary. Amili, Tel NagaAmili put up a hasty shield, but she was only a second too late; one of En'fel's well-aimed frostballs had hit her arm and encased it in a thick layer of ice. She found that she could move the elbow, but no hand or writs action would work. She tried melting it with some fire, but casting with one hand was tricky, and the tiny spark she did get would by no means melt the ice. Besides that, En'fel was stil right there, and she was in the open. With a flick of her wrist, her poisoned dagger was released from it sheath in the sleeve of her robe and was in her hand. With a flick of her useable wrist, the knife flew towards En'fel. She used the distraction to turn a bed over on its side and sit behind it for a shield as well as a moments rest. The duel had turned away from one of magic and began leaning towards a physical one. That was the sort of battle the Pyromancer would not win.

En'fel Tel Naga, Sadrith Mora
En'Fel could barely react to the knife in time, and it grazed the side of his arm. Instantly he could tell it was poison, so he grabbed the side of his arm and cast a tiny frosting spell, killing most of the skin cells and blood cells near his skin.
He had done it before, when he didn't have an antedote on hand En'fel often just froze the affected area, though the sharp shooting pain that seared down that arm as a result was not a pretty one.
En'fel assumed he could break the bed with a single frostball, but did not realize quite how drained he was until he saw nothing more than a tiny snowball released from his hand with splattered against the side of the bed. He groaned and unsheathed his (or rather Endris') katana and charged.
