you need one of megil's tattoos to do magik while a magik barrier is up. one is not up (or is it?), so you don't need one to do magik at the time.

Is it creative license to spell magic that way?

Well, the bar for Magic power is Magicka. So You could call magic Magick and be right.

But yeah, Megil doesn't have the no-magic thing up.

Edit: And Doomed, I can play the Redoran troop-leader guy if need be.

Agreed the tatoo is only important when the barrier is in place, and it currently is not I.E. the mana batteries are not on full blast, jsut sucking infintesmally small amoutns of magicka at the moment,

Also A quick question about telepathy. It can be blocked right?

i imagine you can block telepathy to yourself with a high enough willpower.

but stopping it from affecting someone else? i don't know.

I think telepathy is an ability rather than a power fir Konrad if that's the reason for the question.

I don't think it can be blocked.

Well I am wondering becuase as it stands he could easily kill anyone. though I am thinking Megil and Serene with telepathic abilities as well would be able to fend of his attacks.

not saying that he will, but if he were to choose to, then we would have no choice.

Hmm.....a merge of Megil´s and Serene´s telepathic skills could be........interesting!

He could kill anyone, had they not put up a sort of barrier I suppose. It would take a small amount of magicka to stop his attack, seeing as the only way he kills someone is by squeezing something. Enough magicka to stop that is possible by anyone were they to be ready and knowing of his ability.

I'm fairly sure Telepathy can be blocked. And If not, one could certainly conjure up enough thoughts of horrific, nasty images, loud annoying disrupting sounds, nasty smells, disgusting things felt, and tasted to make sure thge Telepath can't find the thought they want, and/or force them to break contact.

osano is now WOH's first vampire, i have decided.

unless someone has something against it...

i've come up with a slightly altered set of rules for a vampire concerning bloodsucking and sunlight, but i'd prefer to hear other people's thoughts on these guidlines first.

i dont have a problem with it, however i would like to here these new ideas, and a history on why hes a vampire

not really new ideas, just altered old ones, and no real history. there is 5 years of unaccounted time in osano's history (between the last rp and this one) so i planned and saying he got bitten then, but didn't join a vampire clan.

in OB supposedly you dont have to drink blood to stay alive but to keep yourself looking normal. i plan on using this, but as a side thought; after so many years of being a vampire you build up a tolerance to not drinking blood so one can go a few days without drinking and not be to affected.

direct sunlight can kill a vampire, being out in daytime (in the shade for example) is enough to give one a migraine or physically impairing them. clothing covering all the skin, especially dark clothing (hense osano's dark cloak) can help cancel out the effects of sunlight...

those are my alterations to make it easier to rp as a vampire.

ok that sounds good enough, not that i have a say its doomed who does, but i think you're explanations are good. Who is osano going to join? Is he evil?

and he's not evil, it just may look that way because he does most things to further himself. this might include killing for money among other things.

but will he kill for absolutley no reason? no. only if you get him angry or pay him money to do so.

I don't think Obliv's rules can apply. Oblivion's vampires are a whole other breed. Unless Osano took a pleasure trip to Cyrodiil... (which he might have, I don't know)

As for sun, any sunlight will sorch you some. I'd agreed clothing would help....Just don't look into the sun...

Edit: And despite how well fed he is, Lykaon will single him out as a Vampire. They's got a pretty unique smell. ;)
