QUOTE(minque @ Nov 21 2005, 10:12 PM) Ahh Sweden summertime is really nice!....Of course it can be a bit wet and rainy some years but normally it´s nice weather....and the light! it´s awesome...I prefer staying at home in the summer....or go to germany.....it´s nice there as well! Oh and my daughter has been busy in the kitchen: *puts out freshly made saffron-bread, and chocolate cookies!* We get that over here too, the weather isn't usually very hot but a nice cool breezy weather with lots of big fluffy clouds. Another question from a clueless canuck, I heard some movie theatres show movies with English translations or in English with Swedish translations. Is that the case for some movie theatres or is that just foreign films? My mother went to Sweden a while ago and said the movie she saw was in English with Swedish subtitles.

Civ 4 is a good play, but only if you have a laptop IMO.
I remeber playing civ2-3 on meh laptop; on the road, on the plane (well sorta), on the train.. Just wherever, it was enough to last you for those 4 hours or so..
Civ 4 is better in all aspects, but I still see it as a laptop game. Heh, prob wouldn't run on meh old laptop anyways.
-=- AOE3
If I can conjure up any money I'll buy AOE but at the present time I (stupidly) bought COD2, CIV4 and RTW:BI (not to stupid of a desicion). I played the COD2 demo on teh 360 and I cursed at myself for spending $50 to get it for my computer when It looks hella better on the new box.
Oh well, I guess I'll figure something out..
BTW.. w00t (And I think Dantrag and Megil can agree) We just got a lil rain out here in good ol' north carolina. Were going through a drought and such and we need all the water we can get. $500+ water fines aren't cool..

Yes we have subtitles on every foreign movie on tv or at the cinema. In theatres they usually translate the play.... Personally I prefer subtitling to dubbing, because it´s pretty annoying when you watch a Clint Eastwood-movie on german tv and the guy speak GERMAN!!!!

Over here we have Spanish and French channels with dubbing and I have a sneaking suspition that there are only five French dubbing actors on earth. You here the same five voices on everything. I remember watching Iron Monkey with english dubbs and after about three minutes, I turned it off. I would much rather have subtitles that promote literacy and bi-lingualism than aweful dubbings.

Hmmm lets see, I got insulted a lot today, I have a ton of homework, I have a headache, I'm skipping school tomorrow and everyone thinks I'm gay but I'm not. I hope everyone's life is better then mine. Oh yeah I forgot about my story and I'll probably continue it tomorrow, still a little etchy on ideas for chapter four though, I'm done with the introductory crap.
Heh I wish I was one of those lucky kids that managed to get xbox 360, my parents don't really think I need it, (which I don't) so it is all about me for funding. I have enough in my bank, but I don't want to use too much of it... decisions decisions..

I've been playing a lot of Virtual Kill (Grand Theft Auto III) in between writing sessions. That game is great if I want to sit down for 20 minutes and cause chaos or play for a couple hours and hack away at the storyline. I just finished (and posted) the last chapter of The Last Slave so now I'm working on a novel. Oh, and Bethesda said if I removed all references to their game I can publish my stories in a book, I'm still debating wheather or not I'll do that. I signed up for a 'my space' account. I much prefere subtitles. @LoneWolf I don't think I could describe it, just pisture an orchestra with electric guitars.

Now that i came back to Worlds of Warcraft, after months of absence, i have to recognize, that a lot hast changed. Gone are the days, where scattered members of the horde grouped for a quest against the alliance.
I abandoned my lvl54 rogue and started from scratch, in hope, i could get the old feeling again - but after some days of repeating some old, well known, quests, i had to realize, that those days are gone forever.
sweet agony.
those were good times, really good times.
i just hope, oblivion will be out soon.
