I was joking, I didn't bother with the 360, didn't seem worth it though I know a guy who bought two just so he could sell one.
PC all the way.
Oh, and in other news, I got in an argument over abortion with a friend (not on purpose, I was talking about a satirist during the Irish Potato famine and Jonathin Swift and he used that as a segway to present his opinion on abortion) and I provoked him to calling me an insensitive hamster. It was great, especially insce I don't even have that strong of an opinion on abortion. I can go one way an support murder, or the other way and support invasion of privacy. I can't logically win.
And the best part is the entire argument started from another argument of Steven Colbert. He said the Colbert Report was Daily Show Jr. I said they aren't alike at all, Jon Stewet stays real, and his humor comes from taking perspective on stories as an average person. He keeps it real. Steven Colbert is 100% satire, and I love satire, so I love Steven Colbert's show. That went into Jonathan Swift because during the Irish Potato Famine the Catholic Church was still running a campaign against birth control despite the fact that all they were doing was creating a giant infant population in a starving country. Swift's suggestion was they eat all the babies.

QUOTE(minque @ Nov 23 2005, 04:43 PM) I just knew it! You are a professional writer....I must say I enjoyed your stories here, they are superb... Oh and tell me more about that book-thingy.....and Bethesda!! Nice blog btw......yes I visited it.... Well I haven't even written the first chapter of my novel yet but now that I have both of my fan fics done it should go faster. I'm not sure if you've read anything by Frank Peretti, but my book is kind of like 'THis Present Darkness' only it's set in medieval times (when else?). If I do publish my fan fics it will be a self publishing effort through lulu.com. I still haven't made up my mind on that yet.

Sometimes people I talk to take a conversation like, say, books, turn that into a conversation about the Giver, start talking about euphanasia (sp?) even though I try to go back to the book we started on and then guilt trip me on my views on abortion. Anyways, hazaa for the Daily Show and the Colbert Report! Sad that a show that used to be followed with puppets that make phone calls is probably the only reliable tv news source. Don't forget though, watch out for bears. I don't trust them at all .

It's great though, tons of pundits have been saying how horrible it is that the younger generation uses the Daily Show as their source of news. What they fail to realize, though, is that if it weren't for the daily show a lot of these people wouldn't be watching news at all. I kind of see it as a filter though, like "Keepin' it real, DC style"

I kind of see it as a filter though, like "Keepin' it real, DC style" Yeah, all the moron news anchors see the Daily Show as terrible a left/right wing attempt at comedy, then they Sexually harrass coworkers and take up about half a day of news with two airheads talking about Blogs, Bloggers and (this one makes me shiver) the Blogosphere. You really got to wonder though, if news organizations such as Fox don't seem reliable and the Daily Show is one of the few places you can find news that matters, what is happening to the media? What is happening to the youth and impressionable? What is happening to North America? To minque, that was, strange. One of my favourite songs ever, but because internet kittens and photo shop annoy me, I have mixed emotions about it. Wait a second, did I just sound like a flash cartoon critic? Must, stop, criticizing. This post has been edited by Red: Nov 27 2005, 09:22 PM

Wow minque that kitten thing was um...slightly disturbing to say the least. And seeing as how i don't watch the news, for many of the reasons stated I shall not comment on the matter.
FYI it's euthanasia
