Well, a few days ago, I got fired from the little coffee shop I worked at. They couldn't even give me a reason. They even said that I was a hard worker and they didn't have a complaint with me.

At least the people here like me. kvright.gif

We don't get out until the 21st.

The school system never ceases to amaze me me with its stupidity.

I'm seeing the silver lining with this whole fired thing though; I know the owner of a guitar shop, and I'm going to see if I can get a job over there.

That would be the greatest job ever.

Doesn't look that bad LoneWolf smile.gif I had the last exam today, dont know when we will get the results back. Hopefully before school ends, but we might not get the English back until school start again kvright.gif But I really think these exams we had this year have been very boring... Not close to anything I would actually enjoy working hard with tongue.gif

Hmmn.. recently I did the ASVAB (recent being within the past month)

I scored in the 90th percentile in all English skills, the 70th percentile in Electric and Scientific Skills and around 60-65 in every other skill (Math, People Skills, etc.)

It's goverment sponsored and created so I think it's at least a bit accurate (considering I had to take a test three class periods long)

Some skill aptitude test that is in use across the US. I'm not quite sure what it stands for but it is hailed for being fantasticly accurate.

Er... If I'm not mistaken thats what you take when you wish to join the military O_o

Our grading systems here in america seem to be quite diff from your european ones..

Like a 68% in chemistry is really, really, really bad.. (heh, my grade..) It is actually failing sad.gif

A B3?

...Ok.. I think Ima gonna try to xplain our grading system..

A - 100-90% - Best you can do
B - 89-80%
C - 79-70%
D - 69-60%
E - Is unimportant
F - Your a failure. - Worst you can do

Now, passing is usually making about a 70% or above. Grading scale changes with each state.. Mine is actually diff then this, but not a whole lot.

Here it's:

A: 85-100%
B: 70-84%
C: 55-69%
D: 40-54%
E: 25-39%
F: 0-24%

A pass is a D or higher here, 40% or higher

The whole A1,A2, B1, B2, B3 thing i can't remeber what the percentages for, so i didn't put them in

Well, originally it did have some military connection, now it's just a skill aptitude test.

Just want to share the news, my daughter has now been in US for a week, she´s arrived at her host-family in Ann Arbor MI, and so far everything is great.

It´s nice and snowy where she is, the family have taken very good care of her and the previous au-pair has introduced her to a lot of ppl.....

Oh guys I really feel like I want to go visit her as soon as possible..it sounds very nice what she´s telling.....so I´m now saving up all money I can spare so I can go on a loooooong trip to US next year.....
