I'm listening to the Mystery Men soundtrack.. i lead a boring life

Well you can compare you're boring life to my girlish one. Being raised when an older sister as your best friend has DEVASTATING effects to your music tastes. Right now I'm listening to Photograph by Nickelback. One of my newest favorites in the new album, All The Right Reasons, I think that's what it is called, don't have the cd case in front of me.

And that brings me to another conclusion, I'm like the only kid in my school that doesn't know every Guns And Roses song or has an iPod or Mp3.

It's Guns 'n Roses.

Anyways, I don't know all their songs either...I do have an mp3 player though.

I'm listening to one of my favorite bands, Symphony X - Out of the Ashes.

Great song, and Romeo pulls off his ridiculous guitarishness yet again.

Anyone else feel like that makes no sense whatsoever?

I'm listening to Blind Guardian's Curse of Feanor. This song is about the part in the Silmarillion where Feanor swears his damning oath, and many other elves do likewise; they swore that they wouldn't stop fighting until Morgoth was dead. If they broke the oath, they called eternal darkness upon themselves.

Nonsense is it? Not so much.

They may have odd lyrics, but it makes perfect sense.
Just think about it, really.

It's a stretch, but all I can gather is that the songwriter is pissed off at phony people that are evil puppets from hell. I guess its their words that came from hell.

EDIT: my listening has now changed to "Blood Tears" still by Blind Guardian. This is where Morgoth has hung Feanor's son, Maedhros on the wall of his fortress. By his hand.He was to hang there until the elves surrendered; of course they couldn't after swearing their oath. Maedhros and Finarfin(i think it was him) Fingolfin's son, was going to put his out of his misery by shooting him, but instead the gods sent eagles to carry Finarfin up to free Maedhros. He had to cut off the poor guy's hand. Anyway, it ended the feud between Faenor's descendants and Fingolfin and his. (Faenor died already)

Schoolyard Heroes PureVolume

As a sidenot, I am putting together a band. Not much has been done yet, we're still working out some of the details (like a name ).

So far in the running of names is "Bloodshot Romance"and "Psychosis Butterfly". If you have any suggestions just put them down with your music posts on this board.

I like "Psychosis Butterfly". That one's pretty sweet. The other one reminds me too much of bands like Matchbook ROmance and My Chemical Romance. *shudders*

Anyways, I'm listening to Led Zeppelin - Black Dog. You gotta love Zeppelin.

It's a really hard song to play on guitar because of it's odd rythm.

You're right, there are a bit too many bands with "Romance" in the title, it's getting overused.

I'm listening to a lot of Iron Maiden lately. I have about 5 of their albums, and i'm getting 3 more soon

I bought a Blind guardian album that's been missing from my collection, so I've been listening to that. It's called "A night at the Opera" right now I'm listening to "Sadly Sings Destiny".

Iron Eddie rocks my socks. Then eats me and my socks. Then moves onto his next victim.

I've been listening to Bad Religion alot more than usual lately and am really enjoying the Grey Race CD. So I'm listening to Punk Rock song and Infected right now.

I've had a two-day run of MSI (Mindless Self Indulgence) for some unknown reason. I normally don't like it that much, but I've been oddly in the mood. It's actually rather good party music, it's a shame I don't have parties

Did I ever mention that I love R.E.M? I've been a fan aslong as I can remember and very simply, when I found out they had done a song about one of my heroes (actual heroes, not just saying that) Andy Kaufman, I decided to start listening to their cd's more often.

Man on the Moon (the one about Andy) by R.E.M. Put one of my favourite verses in my signature.
