Hello, my name is Kindred Spirit and I'm not an Elder Scrollaholic. Really. I swear to it on the name of Azura. I've only played Morrowind, Tribunal, and part of Bloodmoon, as well as a (very) small part of Arena. Before today, I was clean for a good few months, but I got bored of listening to my brother and sister fighting, so I popped Morrowind in the xbox and got lost again in the wonderful world of...Morrowind. Hmm...That was supposed to be alliterative. Oh well. I used to play for the entire weekend straight, only stopping for showers. Then I'd play ~10 hours during every weekday. (It came out of my sleeping time, which is where I get my internet time from now) Now I only play once every couple days, sometimes weeks in between, so I am no longer a Scrollaholic. (Ok, the link in my sig will argue otherwise...) I do, however, know most of the lore fairly well, and I rp quite a bit for it. (haven't done anything over here, didn't want to try to figure out what was going on in either of those seriously long rps, and the others all seem to die quickly) I'm more of a fanboy of the lore itself than the games, because writing is the ultimate form of rping, because everything is up to your imagination, which has an unlimited budget. (er, kind of) To give you an idea of just how bad of a Scrollaholic I used to be, take my username. Kindred Spirit. Seems innocent enough. But now, just repeat the initials in it. KS. Still, depending on your accent and level of Scrollaholic-ness, it might seem innocent. KS. Kay Es. Caius. I just figured this out recently. Ironically, this was my username before I started playing Morrowind, before I had even heard of TES. Minque- Serene is cool. What mods do you use? My pc copy of Morrowind is broken (none of the meshes will load, even after re-installing) but, if I get it fixed, I might want to try some of those out, if I ever happen to have a female character. (probably happen sooner or later, I tend to go through ~3 characters a day, when I'm playing, as well as having ~5 good characters at a time)

Hello i am Florodine, i have been an elder schrollaholic before, for litterally a year and a half i would rush home from school and pop it in. Then do my all my hw for every class, during health. However since i have been awaiting oblivion, i have stopped. I hope to control my self with oblivion, however when it comes out, i think i might trap myself in my room for three days, with some food, some drinks, and quick silent trips to the bathroom.
However for now i am free.

Hello everybody, I'm Proweler and I'm a Elderscrollaholic. It started Summer 02. I had read in my game magazine that the huge world contained thousands of hand placed items and I figured that such a game has to be good. When I picked up the box I was blown away by the cover, a brown book with plastic golden inscriptions. I installed the game and I kinda blacked out. I told all my friend about Morrowind and soon everybody was playing. We told each other the stuff we did. Most of that time was one big haze. Once I finished the game I kept looking for more, I tried modding but because I didn't speak English that good I never bothered to publish them. After I got bored with modding Tribunal and Bloodmoon came out. I played through them as well, delighted with the new fix of Morrowind goodness. Halfway through I got interested in Lore. I started reading and posting on the Lore forums. I joined in what I now consider the golden age, people were actively discussing lore and doing serious role-playing. Once I finished Bloodmoon I took a break. It must have been Summer 03 because I went on vacation got a gf and a life for a while and I started playing other games. Once that all was over I started looking back at the stuff I'd done and I started to play Morrowind again. This time I got really hooked on Lore and once you are hooked there is no way back. If you have been clean for a week you'll suddenly realize something that draws you back all the way in. That is my story, I hope you enjoyed it and don't feel to bad about your own addiction. You could be me afterall.

QUOTE(Wurlon @ Jan 20 2006, 01:31 AM) Did you use mods for her face and clothes or are you that good at editing with the CS? Nah I use a bunch of mods.....I´m really no expert with the CS! f.ex: Emma´s heads, better bodies, CanadianIce´s clothes......and many more but Serene is a creation of mainly those mods!

QUOTE(Werewolfzz @ Jan 20 2006, 02:04 AM) I was fortunate enough to have my hard drive completely crap out on me the last few months of my senior year in college, therefore allowing me to go through withdrawals from Morrowind and ultimately graduate!!! HA hilarious. but yeah video games can do that to people..../\\/\/\/\/\//\ (woot random) p.s. I am in a strangely good mood and hyper so yeah. But I'm not really addicted anymoe, after beating it twice and that kind of slows the game down. making it predictable....

Of all the amazing twists of fate, I got into Law School and decided to give my copy of Morrowind to my nephew... And now here comes Oblivion.... literally!!! I'm gonna have to get it out of my system over summer and then clean sweep it off my computer before classes pick back up!
