Hey, im just another Oblivion crazed fan who really doesnt want to wait until March 21st to play Oblivion. Any ideas on things to do in the meantime? Any great PC games you can reccommend? (besides AOE III, i already got it)

I don't think you should trust that date as a release date, because the official one is still only "Early 2006"

QUOTE(Neela @ Jan 29 2006, 06:18 AM) Tough question... I have been playing Civ 4 some and of course doing some Poser pics when the creative mood strikes. Today I have been struck by a desire to play Battlespire through before Oblivion, but I couldn't get it to run in DOSBox. What I could find on the web says it won't work because of the video driver it uses. Anyone get Battlespire to run in Windows XP? (...) Magnus, Sur Warlock on tesf advises win98 or 2000. Defintly not dosbox. QUOTE(Loki @ Jan 28 2006, 11:36 PM) Hey, im just another Oblivion crazed fan who really doesnt want to wait until March 21st to play Oblivion. (besides AOE III, i already got it) I'm currently playing Weird Worlds: Return to Infinite Space, it's not verry long but good for 15 minutes of fun. Nice when your short on time. I have a few things to do until then, mostly work, but in my free time, if I get to gaming, I'll play: Jedi Knight 2: Jedi Outcast - yay for lightsaber action! Jedi Knight 3: Jedi Academy - even more lightsaber action! Morrowind - well...yeah TESA: Redguard - still haven't finished it Also, I may install DS9: The Fallen again. It is a very immersive, if dated Star Trek FPS. You can play as Worf, Kira or Sisko. It's nice.

QUOTE(minque @ Jan 30 2006, 03:23 AM) 21 of march? hmmm I´ll be writing a wish-list.......hehe guess why? No but we still have MW and with all the mods ..I will be fully occupied! Guess my birthday present will have to be 2 days late, well probably more because I live all the way out in NZ. I have been playing morrowind and commandos 2; I had decided that my holidays would be spent as a hermit so appart from the rare event I get quite literally forced into I spend all my day painting, playing games and talking to people on the internet. Been like that since New Years and will stay that way for a good 2-3 more weeks. And why you ask if I have so much spare time, don't I do the work I said I would on the W4O bestiary? Because I procrastinate (that and my drawing gear is currently unavailable)

I just discovered BattleField 2 for the PC and I gotta say, its awesome. Definetly enough to keeep me occupied until march. If you dont have this game buy it, the online play is sooo great, if you love FPS's.
