Rann let out a huge sigh as he leaned back in his chair after leaving the enemy ships behind, thanks to The Edge and its pilot.

"Everybody alright?" he asked, hoping that nobody was injured.

Satyana, ship

She was lying where Rann had put her down, motionless. It was as if she was dwelling in a tight bubble, she heard the others talk but the words did not get through to her mind. She was mentally drifting backwards......to her younger days, when she used to play around with her small brothers

"Rannie-pannie, come here....looki what Satty ´s got for you" she giggled like a schoolgirl.....sinking deeper into madness


OOC: She´s got a nasty schock from Syke´s death, she remembers nothing from the events at the station leading to their current situation. Mentally she´s a teenager, playing with the baby-boys!

Rann, Ship

"Take over, Ed." Rann said, getting out of the pilot's chair. "Keep it at full speed; we don't want anybody catching up to us."

He went down the hall to where he heard Satyana say something about Rannie-Pannie. Not exactly something a grown woman would say.

"You alright, Sat?" he asked, standing by the bed she was lying on.

Satyana, ship

"Who are you, do you know where my baby-brother is" She looked at him with an empty gaze....she had no visible injuries....the damage was in her mind

Satyana curled up turning away from Rann, burying her face in the pillow

"Go away, I´m waiting for my brother" she said, with a thin voice

Ed-ship

"Could be better" he said as a response to Rann's question, but then took charge of the ship as Rann ent to check on his sister.

Rann, Ship

"Uhh....I am your brother?" he said questioningly as he knocked on her head lightly, thinking this was some sort of joke to keep his mind off of Syke.

Satyana, ship

"Ouch!!!, " Satyana looked at Rann with empty eyes....without a trace of recognition

"Who are you? And where am I? Where are my brothers?" Then she turned her head aside again, closing her eyes

"What is this? why am I here with this strange man? What has happened.....? ohhhh my head hurts so....I can´t remember a thing!"

F.F.A Headquarters, Earth

“Miss, the research station has successfully been destroyed, but we have some bad news as well.”

The commander, in her neat officers uniform, turned to look puzzlingly at the Communications Officer.

“Well, then out with it, hurry.”

“We’ve lost thirty men in the battle that took place before the research station’s destruction, and we suspect one of our chief officers, Arthur Minskaya, has died in the bombardment.”

The commander looked grim now, and she sighed. “Well, you know the routine. Just go and fetch me the list of officers, so I can pick one to fill in his place. It seems like people are dying left and right nowadays.”

The Communications Officer cleared his throat, and the commander raised an eyebrow, staring at him incredulously.

“What?”

“Well miss, when you pick an officer to fill his place, there will be a batch of soldiers without a commander, and you have plenty of communications officers already, I was wondering if I could fill in for the officer that is appointed as Commander of Earths North American Branch.”

“Your name?”

“Elliot, miss, Elliot Nelson, Communications Officer, Head of Decoding.”

“Aren’t you a bit young to hold that post?”

“Well Miss, I can get letters of recommendation for you if you have any doubts about my abilities.”

“That won’t be necessary Elliot, I will consider your request. You are dismissed, now go fetch that officers list.”

Elliot raised his hand to his forehead in a salute, and turned to march briskly off towards the filing room.

Rann, Ship

"I am your brother!" he said, suddenly realizing that she was serious. "Did you hit your head?" he asked as he immediately held her head to look for any bleeding.

OOC: She has got a bad schock from Syke´s death, combined with lack of oxygen....her brain is swollen but she did not actuallt hit her head, it´s just the nerve-cell connections that doesn´t function

Satyana, ship

"You are my brother?" she slowly shook her head.....closed her eyes and turned away from Rann

"This is just not true, how can he be my brother? he´s a grown man, my brother is a baby"

OOC: I know that; it's Rann that doesn't

"Why would I lie about being your brother?" he asked. "Ed!" he shouted. "Get in here!"

Ed-Ship

Ed turned towards Lily as his name was called,

"If you wouldn't mind taking over for a sec, going to go see what Rann wants,"

He left the cockpit and walked the length of the ship to the room where Rann and Satyana were,

He leaned against the doorframe,

"You needed something?"

"I don't know what's going on. She thinks that I'm supposed to be a baby. Apparently, she lost her memory. What do we do?"

Satyana, ship

"I wonder who they are? These young men....and the girl...it feels as if I know them, but why don´t I remember their names? And the one who says he´s my brother....Oh I´m so confused.....!"

Satyana watched Rann and Ed with curiosity, she felt ok..just that she did not remember anything after she found herself in the ship, lying on that couch.....

"Hey guys....I´m starving, would it be possible to get something to eat?"

She tried a faint smile....

Ed-Ship

Ed watched Satyana, then turned to Rann.

"I don't think there is much we can do rann, except let it run it's course, something will snap her out of it. I don't think we can force her to remember anything."

he turned to Satyana
"I'll go get you some food, but then you will have to get some rest alright?" he said in a tone of voice one might use on a ill child.

Rann, Ship

If he wasn't so worried about his sister, he would have laughed at Ed talking to Satyana like a little girl.

"There are some burritos in the kitchen. Come on and we'll get you some."

This wasn't making anything easier. His brother just died, and the only person he could really look to for comfort thought that she was fifteen years in the past.

Satyana, ship

She followed the younger man who said he´d get her something to eat. Aww he was a sweet boy but looked so sad, maybe he lost a family-member or so?

"Heey you" she said softly to Rann "Why do you look so sad? Has something bad happened to yo?"

She gently stroke his shoulder....

Rann, Ship

"I'm fine." he answered as he took a burrito and heated it up. "Here." he said, putting the food on the table.

She didn't believe that he was her brother, so why would she believe that her other brother was dead?

Rann, Ship

Rann sat down across from his oblivious sister, and after a long pause he looked her in they eye.

"So how old are you?" he asked, hoping that he could get some idea of how old he was supposed to be in her mind, and then he could try to convince her of his identity somehow...

OOC: I guess she would be around 15 ?

Oh she felt a lot better after eating a few burritos, this youngf man was indeed very kind and generous

"Old? me?!" Satyana was confused....she tried to focus.....ok so she clearly remembered her 15th birtday because that´s the birthday she got a baby-brother as a present..oh yes..the sweet lil´boy who never cried, just looked at the world with calm intelligent eyes....

"I must be nearly 16 now" she said vaguely, "but then.....where is my baby-brother?"

She looked at Rann.......looking very sad
