QUOTE(Channler @ Sep 17 2005, 12:35 AM) How hard is it to play the guitar? Oh, I also used to play the piano Depends.. For some who learn the grips fast... and are good with their hands it can be pretty easy as long as u can switch grips fast without 'error', remember them of course I've only played guitar... 3 years now, dont play that much but in the start it wasn't that hard until I forgot the grips But to learn the general stuff and just play it isn't that hard

I've written about two or three openings.

I play the piano. Mine looks a bit like this: Doesn't have three pedals though.

Power of the Shadow made human flesh,
wakened to turmoil, strife and ruin.
The Reborn One, marked and bleeding,
dances the sword in dreams and mist,
chains the Shadowsworn to his will,
from the city, lost and forsaken,
leads the spears to war once more,
breaks the spears and makes them see,
truth long hidden in the ancient dream.

QUOTE(Konradude @ Aug 16 2005, 07:22 PM) Ah yes, DoomedOne reminded me. I also ply saxaphone...2nd sax at the moment. Sweet, I played the sax in middle school and some highschool. I still get it out every now and again. QUOTE(gamer10 @ Aug 16 2005, 07:48 PM) I play the viola. I just started playing the Viola. I got the hang of it pretty quickly. Rockin out some Bah Bah black sheep and My Favorite Things (sound of music). oh yeah, i so rock. lol! QUOTE(Konradude @ Aug 17 2005, 12:34 PM) *Cough*Baseplayersarelowerlifeforms*Cough* ...Ah, that's better. Stand up Bass is where its at and if not I settle for an acoustic. Really depends on what sound you want. QUOTE(Neck' Thall @ Aug 19 2005, 01:38 AM) I Play the cello but don't have a pic of it. (FYI a cello is essentially a really big Violin, that is held at the knees instead of the shoulder.) I feel bad for anyone who doesn't know that. In my opinion if someone doesn't know what a cello is they are not a "true" music fan. But again, thats just my opinion. Oh yeah, I wish I had a cello. I'm making a home-made one. Better than nothing I suppose lol. Here is the list of instruments I actually am proficient at and then another list for the other one's I own and am working on. I will post a pic of all of them together later or tommorrow because most of them are at my friend's and I's band pactice room place thing at my friends parents work. So here goes... Proficient InstrumentsAcoustic Guitar- 6 and 12 string Piano/Keyboard- Although the other sometimes guitarist sometimes piano player in our band is much better than I. (classical training) Banjo Mandolin Harmonica Recorder- Alt, I would like to procure a tenor and bass one also. Kalimba- African finger piano Saxaphone- Alto Not So Proficient InstrumentsAccordian Viola Trombone Flute This post has been edited by Dancing_Bear: Sep 18 2005, 09:03 PM

The famines hard. The city seiged and we've forgotten who we need. I hate my son and I regret, but you don't know how desperate. To kill Elijah and have his head is what the wicked king had said. Elijah trusted despite the mail and prophesized a flower sale. And then we plundered deserted tents. I sold my flower for a pence.

I started playing guitar about 2 1/2 months ago. I am doing pretty well. I can play the rhythm of "For Whom The Bell Tolls" and "I Wanna Rock". I am practicing scales and patterns in scales to learn to play solos. Right now, I have a cheap Ibanez. I am looking to buy a Gibson SG '61 Reissue or a Gibson SG Standard next March.

http://www.epiphone.com/default.asp?Produc...&CollectionID=3[/IMG] Yeah, its pretty mean looking compared to alot of the guitars like it, but I can play some calm and collected songs. My G-310 suits me well because I can play blues, jazz, rock, metal and punk on it without much knob turnin' and the Rage 158 seems to give no sounds when put too close to the G-310, which is always nice.

QUOTE(FafsaTheElf @ Mar 3 2006, 03:14 PM) I feel like there are no classical musicians out here its a real pitty. I play the Cello and have for ohhhh let me see, what was it? i think 9 1/2 years? yes that's right. I'm very dedicated and i spend hours a day practicing. You're not completely alone, FafsaTheElf. I play classical music on my clarinet and love to listen to it. Call me old fassioned, but I could never get into rap and heavy metal. That's not to say that's all I like. Any Beattles fans out there?
