At the elderscrolls.com at the top of the page where it is talking about the official release of oblivion, it says that it has gone to "gold master". Does anyone here know what that means?

Gold means its done and they're putting it on the DVDs.

master means, I belive...i could be wrong, that they have made the Master "gold" disc ready for producing the rest of the discs that you will use.
So they use the one "master-gold" disc and make millions of copies by using it... so it's done! Unless the factory blows up...or something horrible happen. |
