QUOTE(Telendil Delvanni @ Mar 8 2006, 02:42 PM) Heh, i have but one two cars... 1 mustang 67 GT, and one 67 corvette V12, 7.0.... as you might guess, I love american cars, but sad though, i have many years of fixing before thei're ready to hit the roads...starnge isnt it, a girl who likes to fix cars, not to popular amongst girls that is...well well. But I bet the guys love ya. Some of 'em, anyways. The ones who also love cars....and don't mind women who can compete with them in their hobbies. Geez, this it ridiculous! Since when has this site had a framerate? I can watch the words fill in a good five seconds after I'm done typing! Hmmmm.... *gets idea* I should quickly start typing things...and then leave and start recording a video of my pc typing by itself....and then sell my pc to science and buy a better one... Nevermind, that wouldn't work.

Oh I know that uncertainity of a disc-format.. It's always a pain since I've forgotten stuff so many times. :/ Anyway, glad to see you're back Neela and the PC didn't blow up , I hope you get better from that cold of yours. And you're right, it's only one work-week left for you lucky americans.. Too bad I'm european and have to wait two work-weeks . But it's not that bad really, now that Bethesda has released the soundtrack I'm going to buy it later this afternoon and I'll have something to listen in the long wait.

It may be coming out early here in North America, but the stress is unbearible! I have to save up for a top of the line video in less than nine days, save money for a Myrtle beach vacation in a few days, save for an enormous summer vacation, train for the handball team, start new guitar lessons, try to build a band, write a fan-fiction (new chapter coming soon, I promise), build a stronhold to fight off a zombie invasion and save the world! Aye aye aye! Found out my computer overclocks in a few of Oblivion's tech departments and only need a better video card to play recomended. Also, I found out I overclock in Half-Life 2, so I'm going to buy another copy as my old one is broken. Go go ultra team over clock force! Anyways, hope that cold goes away soon. Drink lots of O.J, tea and gingerale, eat lots of soup and vegatables and rest up! You need your strength to save Tamriel you do!

QUOTE(Neela @ Mar 11 2006, 10:27 AM) Well I must say I am feeling quite elated at the moment, even though I have a terrible cold. You as well? Bah, join the club. Every year without fail I get a cold on my birthday. Friday comes, and yep, there it is. Now sunday and I've been sat inside the last two days, sniffling and blowing my nose every twenty seconds. I've used up three boxes of tissues (with the aloe vera strip) and I'm feeling very, very sorry for myself And the best part? You can almost guarantee it will have cleared up by tomorrow so I have no excuse to miss work.

Thanks for all the get well wishes. I think they are helping. Unfortunately for me I can never miss work just for a cold. I have to just bear myself through it, so mine never seems to end before Mondays. Just a guess here that part of the reason the forums might seem slow... For me I know I am really avoiding going to the official site and such and I am actually avoiding the OB forum here too. There seem to be a flood of spoilers about the game since all these reviews are around. I personally don't want to read anything anymore that gives away the good stuff. Its so close now I just want to find out on my own. Anyway I must get back to tending my cold.. I hope to be well before the 20th when my vacation starts

QUOTE(Intestinal Chaos @ Mar 12 2006, 04:15 PM) Well, the sleepless days count has racked up to two. Let's see if I can beat the record... which I can't seem to recall at this moment.... 3 or 4 days? Oh well.... My record of insomnia is 47 hours . It was at a LAN-party in the middle of the cold bitter winter and we had tons of fun games and movies to spend our time with. Besides if you got tired it was just to get out without a jacket and stay for a couple of minutes and you were clear wake at instance.. It was like -15 degrees (Celsius) outside . It was quite an experience really, I got to learn my body (especially my brain) a lot more those days. At first my sight began to fail for a couple of seconds, everything went black and then back to normal again. Then some twitching started to happening, mostly on my legs but some facial twitching was also apparent. Some hours later I found it hard to walk at instances since I calculated the distance between my feet and the floor wrong and kept stepping in the air.. At the last hours I found my motorics fail me, I was going to grab a glas of a table and I moved my arm towards it while I astonished watched as my arm moved the EXACT opposite way! It was like someone was controlling my arm who wasn't me.. I bet the intercommunication between the right and left brain-halve failed at that moment. I had to forcibly think very hard for my arm to start moving correctly again.. Very frightening. At that moment I actually come to thing that this could be damaging to my brain. So I went to sleep. I've stayed awake for many more times after that, but never as far as 47 hours, mostly it's 24-36 hours. And never again has my motorics failed me like that time, wich I'm glad of..... Now, why would someone do that when it's so nice to sleep? Really, I don't know , I guess I just don't like being controlled by some outer force called sleepiness . Now I'm going to grab a cup of coffee since I'm getting sleepy.. .

I get sick from time to time. Rarely with a cold, though. I go outside in the winter without a jacket and don't get a cold. I get literally one cold per year. It's just really bad and lasts me a week. I mostly get pinkeye, and even that's only two or three times a year. Other than that, no illnesses for me. I can go two days without sleep. I've gone at least 48 hours without sleeping at least twice. Once doesn't really count, though. The time we found out that I can't have Benedril... But other than that, I've done 48+ hours with no sleep at least once. No seriously bad effects like the ones Bofra described. Just...eh...getting a bit tired...like to the point where my head starts jerking as I'm starting to fall asleep...and my eyes twitch...but no darkness. And I often do 24+ hours without sleep, that much doesn't really phase me much. And the nights I do sleep, I get like 2-6 hours. Of course...those hours of sleep are so deep it's like I'm in a coma...and I need half a pot of coffee some of those mornings... But eh, I'm still alive. My sleep patterns are weird. My natural pattern is to go to sleep around ten in the morning, wake up sometime in teh afternoon, and then stay up till next morning, but with school and all, that doesn't work too well... So I sleep like that on the weekends, and I either sleep a few hours before or after school on weekdays. QUOTE(Janus Geminus) You as well? Bah, join the club. Here I am thinking I'm really cool being able to stay awake for 47 hours (that's four friggin days!) and you tell me you've done 48 hours several times, with NO weird misscalculations or motoric-failures...! Oh well.. guess I'll have to train that insomnia then . I too am a very healthy human being, get sick at most once per year, at most. And, Sir Radont, I totally second that opinion about drugs, I rarely to never take any. The human body is well equiped with a defencesystem to break down most (if not all) curable illnesses. Drugs mostly distrupt that system or does nothing at all .
